ghak! just found out that California will charge me tax and North Carolina will charge me the full property tax if I buy my Heritage at my original dealer in SoCal and drive it myself to NC. The only way to avoid it is to have it transported. so lame - was going to make it a adventure drive...
My original Heritage build was $47,755 - the Window Sticker says $50,375 - a difference of $2,620. Will Ford honor the original price? I'm told there is a Private Offer for $2,450 on the car - is that to mitigate most of the price increase? My original reservation was in 2020.
the heritage is the cheapest way to get a manual and heated seats (and sasquatch) - what ultimately sold me is the bright and cheery interior - so tired of black dashboards
Yeah - mine also was a CO Badlands that I converted to a HE. I think the HE is the perfect sweet spot of equipment for the price. Can't wait 'till April/May when it arrives.
If that’s your first build date, then it probably won’t stick. And shipping is anyone’s guess. They might keep it on their lot offer it builds because it’s awaiting chips or there might be a rail strike. Hopefully you’ll get it sometime in February.
