So obviously the Sasquatch wheels and tires look cool, like really cool. But how will they handle the cold?
Here in Minnesota it's frozen a good 7 months out of the year, and we get a lot of ice and snow. Some of drivers here seem to think AWD makes them invincible on the road, but I see a lot...
Usually a tune is $600-$800 and includes the necessary hardware to plug into the vehicles ODB port and flash the computer(s) - engine control, transmission control, etc.
Some tunes (like Roush or Ford Performance) are sold in “packs” of good, better, best where they come with extra hardware...
Maybe you’re right in a general sense, but I can tell you that my 5.0 Coyote is not a low-end torque monster, even after I upgraded to GT350 intake, throttle body, catback exhaust and tune. It does not have a linear power band. It is a dog at low RPM.
Meanwhile the 2.3L in my Ranger gets a...
I don’t think the bezel looks bad. Ford obviously has a profit incentive to price discriminate across their trims and the fact that you started this thread shows why it works.
For me, the technical capability and upgradability of the platform are what I care about. I don’t want ultra luxury...
Scratches are par for the course with this one. We use nail polish to seal up paint scuffs on my husband’s Ranger. It’s a truck, just can’t worry too much about it.
I think you hit the nail on the head with the regulatory approval. California CARB won’t approve anything without greasing the right palms and a lot of time.
Other tuners will figure it out much more quickly if you’re in a hurry.
No, not so lucky in general. My husband thinks my car obsession is dumb. But one night we were drinking and he said something like “the two door Bronco looks sweet. If I were getting a Bronco that’s the one I’d get.” Two minutes later I reserved a 2d Black Diamond ?
The 2.3 scoots my Ranger around really quickly once the 10 speed transmission wakes up. I think it will just be fine in the Bronco (which is only a little porkier)
holy crap
"my 2004 ranger needed two transmission replacements- you owe me a free bronco"
"i just got married and i really like the bronco. can i have a free bronco?"
jeeeez. this is why i don't have twitter.
I just bought a 2020 Ranger and the insurance is cheap, I think I’m paying about $120/month for both the Ranger and the Mustang GT. Given that the Bronco is about the same price to a little more expensive than the Ranger I doubt it will be that bad.
GAP insurance I’ve never bought because I...
My guess is the running boards stay but the painted flares go. Otherwise we’d likely see the Wildtrak with painted Sasquatch fenders.
Keep in mind all of Ford’s paint colors are common, the fender flares can be removed easily with clips and any body shop should be able to paint them with...
