I have to pay the full tax when I buy a new vehicle...But my annual registration after that is like $9 for the rest of the time I own the car.
That's what vet status gets in you OK.
There would be no point.
Roll the window down so you can put your arm on the window sill...And you've blocked the bottom.
Roll it up to stay warm...And you've opened the entire bottom part to an icy blast.
I won't buy until I can sit in, drive, compare to other things I like, then sit in and drive some more.
It's too much money, and I keep cars for far too long to just wing it.
If you're not intending on dropping the weight of the vehicle on them, or not going to do hard-core off-roading to the point where you need rock rails. Running boards/steps are sure to be in easy supply.
If you can spring for them though...The Amp Research power running boards are the bee's...
That's what I used to calculate the ratio resulting in a figure that @broncobuster2550 says was pretty close. And I did the radius from the center to the top (can see the actual tread so I knew where to stop measuring), so the load shouldn't really matter.
?‍♂️ I just went off the radius of the tire and a line I drew along the bottom of the tires...measured up from there and ran the ratios to known measurements.
I hope it isn't too high...but if it is...I can just slap on some power running boards. Others in this thread don't have that luxury...
Almost every vehicle produced in like the last 20 years has vinyl in it. Even higher end cars do it. Front seats are leather, back seats are vinyl/pleather. Nobody notices. Vinyl isn't what a lot of people here have pictured in their heads.
Hell, the 4Runner has ALL vinyl...They just call it...
Don't feed a terrier a live tuna if it's allergic to fish, then drive off some sweet jumps, and you won't have all these things all over your truck.
Done. Solved. Close the thread.
