  1. Engines at Altitude

Nothing very specific, no. Good tip to live on the same side of the interstate. I just kind of wanted to get people's general opinion on it. I will enjoy being closer to the ski areas in the winter.
  2. Engines at Altitude

Hi all. Apologies if this has already been covered - I searched around but couldn't find anything. I'm in Indiana, so I didn't have any concerns with the 2.3, but I'm considering a move to the Colorado Springs area. I'd be driving at high altitude a lot, and I wondered if I should have any...
  3. Black Diamond Daily Driver

Yup, agreed. I wish I could just option the Base with mid package, vinyl, and rubber floors. The $5k difference between base and BB just for some styling stuff (more or less), and the privilege to pay for the mid package just doesn't cut it for me.

Good point there with it only being maybe 30 or so minutes each day. I'm betting it'll even be more comfortable than my current DD. I was in a 2002(?) Wrangler, which is obviously a whole other animal, and is was astonishingly bad as far as the ride was concerned. Probably irrational to compare...

I have that same concern about heat with the vinyl. I'm in IN though, so I only get 100+ degrees a couple days out of the year. Makes me a little less concerned about that, but still could be tough. I've had black leather before in my old BMW, and it wasn't too bad, so I'm hoping for about the same.

    Awesome insight, thanks.

How are you expecting it to be on the road? Are you concerned with that aspect at all? With my lack of experience, I have no ballpark even. People who know what they're talking about may say, yeah, why wouldn't it be fine? Or the total opposite.
  8. Black Diamond Daily Driver

I'm an off road novice. That being said, I'd like a Bronco to be my foot in the door to more outdoor adventures. That being said again, the main purpose of my Bronco will be a daily driver - ~20 miles each day. Right now, I'm pretty set on the BD. To those of you who have more experience in off...
  9. Best Bang for Your Buck Trim Level

Obviously, we don't have the actual answer to this question yet, since we don't have the build and price tool up yet. Just wondering what everyone thinks is the best value trim level as far as standard equipment is concerned. I think it may be BD or BL; I guess it also depends on what you value...
