It's laughable that Ford continues to quote me a 7/10-7/16 EDD while also stating it's still in Michigan and will ship "soon". Both chat and the marketing line told me that today. It's not going to be in NC next week.
Right. It's all been a bit frustrating because it's like @jitsujohnny has said about his. I've heard a few different things. More recently they've used different language. I've heard "complete, no holds", "built, no holds", "status shows in production, ETA 7/10-7/16 please use tracker or...
Shows In Production but both chat and the marketing line state that as primary status and "produced" as secondary status with an ETA of 7/10-7/16 but don't have an explanation why the tracker hasn't updated on my end. The last person I talked to said it is still in Michigan and will be "shipped...
I'm hoping that the secondary status of "Produced" they gave me when I called means that it's off the line. They claim there aren't any holds but can't/ won't tell me why it hasn't shipped.
I was just trying to imagine what was worse. Did they not have tops and then parked them outside and then a massive thunderstorm roll through and flood the interiors?
I'm now convinced I'm going to get it while I'm in vacation. I don't care. I'll drive the 3 hours from the beach to take delivery and drive back with the front panels off.
I'm not sure it means much. I assumed, guess wrongly, that tear tag numbers were unique. I share a tear tag with someone in 6/20 and they've got their baby pic, built email and are in transit.
