  1. Hard top hoist with 2 contact points (pics)

That looks really useful for multiple purposes - how much clearance does it need? It looks like it might be even a little less than block and tackle.
  2. Hard top hoist with 2 contact points (pics)

Yes. The strap uses a foot or more of valuable ceiling height. This would also reduce flex at the roof connection from a free hook.
  3. Idle RPM

For the first 6k miles or so, I had a very quiet VERY CONSISTENT 0.7rpm idle and I could hardly distinguish from start/stop without looking. I'm starting to idle just a tad rougher and now it's consistently 0.8rpm. Not much difference, but a clear step change. Thoughts why? Similar experiences?
  4. Windshield replacement

From what I understand, the Bronco brand on the OEM windshield isn't worth it - third party glass is supposed to withstand chips better - OEM seems really brittle and I'm told cracks propagate much more readily - I am holding out to hear what's best. Stopped a crack from spreading but it's too...
  5. Forscan and 2023 models?

It would be good to see the as-built data comparisons for someone who added PPT - before and after to see what changed. Even just seeing it now would help - can someone who has applied it to a 2023 post their vin?
  6. Baseball caps - where are you putting them?

Frequently phone charging area behind the gear shift.
  7. 2 Door Sasquatch Wildtrak takes on Moab Round 2

where'd you get those red letters?
  8. FORScan Bronco Working Spreadsheet (double honk, sport mode, chimes, seatbelts, and more!)

Some do, but I only made a few simple changes - these differences are more than I made - maybe software updates? maybe the system changes other values when making changes? I did notice that it must have a delay. I went and checked right after making my first change and it wasn't reflected...
  9. Central TX Bronco Club

    @Beach life Jersey Village here.
  10. FORScan Bronco Working Spreadsheet (double honk, sport mode, chimes, seatbelts, and more!)

I guess it does - just ran this against February output... 2023 Badlands Lux
  11. FORScan Bronco Working Spreadsheet (double honk, sport mode, chimes, seatbelts, and more!)

From my experience, this asbuilt data doesn't change when I make changes to my vehicle. Has anyone confirmed that it's a live update of your rig? Or is it a static database of as built configuration from the manufacture?
  12. Hard top users - what is your plan of attack for summer?

I still haven't installed but have all the parts - using this shelf and hanging from front - raised with manual hoist block/tackle.... using roller trolley and track on ceiling - haven't installed yet because I suspect an engineered beam with particle board instead of a 2x8 - need to confirm...
  13. Creative “freedom” panel storage in cargo area -- ideas

I think you're right about the vertical storage option (in the bag). Seems silly, but this just seems to be something that should take less than 2 minutes for spontaneous sunshine. Not a 15 minute packing ordeal.
  14. Bronco Trail App Finally Released! 📲

It has a lot of promise - it needs content badly - as do they all - especially for Texas. Merus in Palo Duro Canyon isn't even there. It needs to show publicly accessible areas even if not curated. Finding a place to wheel is the hardest thing. Once there, I don't need all that...
  15. Creative “freedom” panel storage in cargo area -- ideas

I do it all the time - they do fit but the bags are very hard to load (too tight) and they take up the floor space. I was hoping a vertical solution would be useful, but they are just a bit too big. I keep a moving blanket in the back for all kinds of purposes, and my usual solution is to just...
  16. Creative “freedom” panel storage in cargo area -- ideas

Never mind.... driver's side fits, but passenger is a smidge too long. Bummer.
  17. Creative “freedom” panel storage in cargo area -- ideas

We need some creative ideas for short term storage of our front panels in cargo area without losing space. Maybe straps and hooks to secure vertically on each side? like so…
  18. FORScan Bronco Working Spreadsheet (double honk, sport mode, chimes, seatbelts, and more!)

For a specific example, if you want to disable DRL With Fog you have to put 01 somewhere. The ** is where that goes. You can (and should) ignore the Xs and the -s. BdyCM 726-38-02 **xx xxxx xx-- DRL With Fog: 00=Enable 01=Disable So, instead of (for example) 0012 3456 7890 you...
  19. I need mud flaps, whats everyone using?

For crawling, have you ever seen any that come "back" along the bottom of the sliders instead of down (reducing clearance and being prone to damage)? They would do just as good a job protecting the side of the vehicle.
