I was worried it would sag, especially with the winch mount/winch on there. This is all speculative, but I assume it’s because my SAS suspension came off a 2.7 vs a 2.4, if they have stiffer springs due to the weight difference maybe that worked in my favor?
Thank you! Love the stance!
Looking at the tire size comparison I think I gained 2 inches in sidewall:
And per the suspension cookbook: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/the-definitive-guide-to-2021-bronco-ride-lift-heights-with-wheel-tire-sizes.17719/
SAS suspension should net about...
No, for some reason or another my BD came with BB wheels. I purchased it on lot and it was at MSRP so I was like whatever, lol. So I found some BD wheels locally and purchased them to install these tires on.
It’s a much more refined ride. I’d even say significantly better. The stock suspension was stiffer and more jittery. It wasn’t awful but it wasn’t great. The SAS suspension is great. It nose dives a bit more, and squats a bit more when you accelerate. The on road manners are more floaty over...
6ft6 here.
Like one other poster, I do not sit with seat all the way back. I sit forward and seat back pretty straight. Can’t remember ever noticing the B pillar in 3k+ miles.
Thank you so much for posting this!
I basically went thru the same experience before finding this thread 🙃.
I went to install one side, zero issues, easy bolt off and bolt on.
The other side, was off with the 6 pinch weld holes, not by much but by enough to have to enlarge the holes a few mm...
I have the Rally Armor flaps with the cutout for the factory rock rail, I am guessing the hole for those will line up with the end part of the sliders! Will find out once those arrive :D
+1 for the Flashcal.
Got it off Amazon (https://a.co/d/6iUgWuE).
Recalibrated for some 35's on my BD (up from the stock size, ~31.8's) and it’s accurate within 1 mph.
Also disabled the double honk, start-stop and set TPMS warning light to whatever pressure I want.
Just got back from a drive. Very happy with them. They are louder than the stock Grabber ATX's, but nothing crazy. Only would notice without any music/noise inside. Handles the rain great. The shop had these at 29-30psi cold (31-32 warm) which is maybe a bit low, so I added 2-3 PSI to see how...
