You really don't need any instructions. I just watched the video and got everything apart, installed and back together with no issues. The video is really all you need to get the dash off. The rest is pretty simple.

Yeah, if that's what you're using it for, it will work. I got mine for when I'm up at my camp to keep all the tree sap and the like off when I have to park under the trees or when I take my top off. I found out the hard way that they dont keep water out when we had heavier rain about a month ago...

These covers aren't waterproof. I have one and the rain does go through it if it's heavy or constant enough.

Is your first dip switch set correctly? It should be down for 12v power iirc. That might be killing the power to the amp and no sound.
