It sits flat and only overhangs the footwells which are about 12 inches. Only thing I left underneath the platform were the big nuts from the seats. Have them flush with the top of the bolt. It has never moved on me and there were times I've had alot of stuff in the back sitting on it.
Yes, that's correct. I don't have any pictures other than of the sheet before I put the waterproof carpeting on. It is 51 inches long and 42.5 inches wide at the back. I just made a template out of cardboard for the curved part of the cargo area and transfered it to the plywood and cut it out.
The way I have the plywood cut makes it fit securely around the interior without needing any additional securing. It does not move at all when i have the top off. I do have storage on the floor behind the seats still. I also can lift up the platform to access the little storage hatch.
I had mine in for this recently. It was corrupted data in the BCM. Not sure if FORSCAN was the culprit or not but I went back in and put all the settings back that I changed before and no issues.
So how did they fix the service charging system issue? I have mine going in for the driveshaft recall in a few weeks and I am having them look at that too.
Installed mine myself. It is pretty ridiculous that you have to have a dealer or ASE certified shop install it. I didn't even watch a video, just followed the directions. My guess is they want you to have it done at those places in case you somehow brick your bronco during the installation.
I have the same cover. It will leak if it pool's on top and you have the top off. I learned the hard way. Luckily it wasn't a lot of water that leaked. Now if I use it and it's going to rain and my top is off, I stand a broom up inside so the water runs down.
