Yeah that's a dealer problem. I used mine for an oil change when the system was down and the guy just took down my fordpass number and charged it later when the system was back up

Good ol Ford window motors. Back in the early 2000s you could just smack the $hi+ out of the door panel just above the motor and they would revive. I doubt that trick still works though
"Stick" with it. Not all of us have the noise, I've never heard it, but it seems like the even the people that do have an issue don't care and wouldn't change. If you want the manual and don't get it you'll never truly be happy.

The most expensive aftermarket that I've seen is the carbon fiber from anderson composites and that starts at like 9k, everything else is under 7k. If one of the facebookers will buy it for 8k I'd jump all over it. No shame in profiteering, that's capitalism baby.
Yeah, unfortunately that would be too high for most. If someone is going to spend that kind of money I think just about everyone would go with aftermarket. I plan on aftermarket but I happened to see your post lol

Yeah, just pop the rings off and you're good. Just be careful, the bolts can be stripped fairly easily.
