Yeah, the 7pin seems to be something I vaguely recall seeing before too. I probably didn’t think it was that big of a deal since it’s not the 90s anymore and lots of vehicles come set up for towing from the factory (beyond just the standard 4 pin connector).
I realize that MSRP is not the out the door price but same holds true for Bronco if the MSRP is $37k. I know you’re not going to get $5k off right away but I don’t think it’ll be very long that you have to pay full MSRP. Ie, I don’t think very many people will be paying $37k for a base model.
Just for grins I went to the Chevy site to see what a ZR2 goes for, felt like being in enemy territory. MSRP for a ZR2 extended cab was $42k, crew $44k. And the ZR2 only comes with 31” tires!!!!!
I figured you were talking about the price. I agree, it’s a bit steep but I believe it based on what a few people here have said. I do think you’ll get a fair amount for your $37k though like NickP said. Hardtop with removable panels, removable doors panel, AC, Power windows/locks and a bunch...
It gets tiring typing out Bronco Sport. And you can’t just say Bronco, you know, because that’s an entirely different vehicle. And Sport doesn’t work, that could mean Wrangler Sport, Range Rover Sport, etc. So we need to establish new term for it. How about Escape Bronco? Nope, same length...
Yeah, I guess I was thinking on a more extreme scale. Ie, Bronco won’t have a comparable model to the Wrangler Sport and they’ll only be making higher models. No budget stripper model available.
Well, I’ll just start guessing:
No manual transmission.
4 cylinder only.
Bronco Brand is going to have some seriously heinous vehicles in it. I’m guessing one will be a rebadged Ecosport, and worse models! Also, Focus will be rebranded as a Bronco.
2023 Raptor Bronco cancelled.
Real Bronco...
