That's the lower one with the funky disconnect tool? I can see how it could be done wrong. It really doesn't give you any indication that its seated that we could tell. Ours is a 22.

FWIW the little tool that the Injen intake comes with takes that hose off pretty easy.

Do you have a code reader? If not go to a parts store, they can read them. Report back on what it is. Probably a loose fitting somewhere. You had someone install it? Curious what that cost.

It should absolutely be a gain on top of the tune. You will be pushing more air and therefore can use more fuel. I'm curious what ours would dyno but I never have the time to do it. I've never dynoed my performance cars so it'd be silly to dyno this. However, it is now the most modified car...

People keep jumping on the intake part and it's really not about that for us, we bought it for the more efficient piping which is where (if there are any) gains are made. It loses the stupid "valve" that is so floppy that it's not stopping anything but I don't see that as a loss at all.
