  1. Injen CAI for the 2.7L Installed!

That's the lower one with the funky disconnect tool? I can see how it could be done wrong. It really doesn't give you any indication that its seated that we could tell. Ours is a 22.
  2. Injen intake for 2.7 installed

That's a good price for all the work that needed to be done. Of course, not if you keep having issues. There's definitely something loose. I see you posted in the other thread, let's just keep it going on that one since there's more info there!
  3. Injen CAI for the 2.7L Installed!

Knowing what the code actually is would help a lot.
  4. HELP!! need to remove the CCV line to double oil catch can

FWIW the little tool that the Injen intake comes with takes that hose off pretty easy.
  5. Injen intake for 2.7 installed

Do you have a code reader? If not go to a parts store, they can read them. Report back on what it is. Probably a loose fitting somewhere. You had someone install it? Curious what that cost.
  6. Injen CAI for the 2.7L Installed!

It should absolutely be a gain on top of the tune. You will be pushing more air and therefore can use more fuel. I'm curious what ours would dyno but I never have the time to do it. I've never dynoed my performance cars so it'd be silly to dyno this. However, it is now the most modified car...
  7. Picture of 2.7 turbo compressor wheel

I figured I'd post this since most people won't ever see them.
  8. Injen CAI for the 2.7L Installed!

People keep jumping on the intake part and it's really not about that for us, we bought it for the more efficient piping which is where (if there are any) gains are made. It loses the stupid "valve" that is so floppy that it's not stopping anything but I don't see that as a loss at all.
  9. Injen CAI for the 2.7L Installed!

I'm in the same boat, it's not my BMW but for what it is, it's pretty quick! It's also now the most modified vehicle I've ever owned (kinda silly but here we are).
  10. Wife’s EG 2 door. magnums installed

im not really thrilled with them honestly. I think the factory speakers had better response when on the kicker..
  11. Injen intake for 2.7 installed

The test drive: wife drove first but I quickly realized she’s got chicken foot and needed to jump in to make sure we didn’t have any boost leaks. I did notice a nice whooshy growl when you tip in. When I got in I quickly hit 19.8 psi and it felt right. overall I’m happy but I wish I would...
  12. Injen intake for 2.7 installed

A little rundown: be careful with the crank case vent clips, they’ll break, wife broke one and luckily the autozone had one in stock. it’s a lot of work, I’d say the tear down was longer than the reinstall but they both have some challenges. Lots of tight spaces and hose clamps. the kit fits...
  13. Injen intake for 2.7 installed

That was a bit of a nightmare.
  14. Injen CAI for the 2.7L Installed!

In the words of Amy winehouse, what kind of fuckery is this? My goodness that was a job! We just finished ours, around 4.5hr I’d say. Wife broke a clip but shockingly the auto zone had it.
  15. Injen intake for 2.7 installed

I chose the Injen over the k&n for the turbo inlet piping. I felt the Injen was a cleaner design.
  16. Injen intake for 2.7 installed

Going to be a fun weekend
  17. Injen intake for 2.7 installed

I didn't even know it shipped. I was checking to see if my BMW exhaust tips delivered and saw it. Unfortunately wife is travelling tomorrow but I may try to start it saturday night since I am anticipating a nightmare and I am travelling Mon so I can't leave her down. If it looks mega stupid hard...
  18. Water Fording

A ford can ford a fjord if you can afford to recover it.
  19. Water Fording

We've been deep enough to hear it on the floorboards.
