@RagnarKon pretty much covered it. Also keep in mind that there's wiring and airbags running in and around the cage. Removing the plastics makes it far easier to mask, but some shops might not want to work around exposed airbags.

I'm running their moar door rear window molle panels and am very pleased with them. I'd buy from them again without hesitation -- they seem to turn out solid products.
