Likely won't notice much with just a filter. I have the K&N CAI Kit on my 2.3, can hear the turbo a tad more but the blow off noise is significantly more pronounced.

When removing the CVs in these things, easiest way is to remove skid plate for a better angle and tap it out with a long soft punch and hammer. Usually pops right out in a hit or two.

If you liked Brewer, I'd highly recommend Strawberry Lake Trail. Similar in difficulty but a bit longer and you can get all the way down to the water.

Coyote Lake Trail jut above Shaver Ca. Very difficult for Broncos, I have a full blown rock crawler as well that I normally take. Not sure Id attempt it again in the Bronco, even with a functioning front locker. But there are tons of great trails in the same area that are super fun in these things.

Just Wanted to update this. Broke A CV axle on the trail Saturday and since I had to tear it down for that, I decided to dive back in and replace the locker magnet AGAIN. This Time I made sure the isolator shim from the original was installed and made sure I put + to red coil wire. And She...

Welp I’m about to lose it. Got it all back together and replaced the wiring harness going from my switch panel down to the pigtail just as a precaution. POP! Now the unit reads 0.7 ohms.

Well, to add to the frustration, this magnet came with the pin welded into the wrong spot.. had to machine a pin and weld it into the correct spot.

They claimed I fried the unit because I didn't use their harness that they sell separately which is nothing special. I wired it just fine using an OEM pigtail, but they wouldn't help at all. I believe my supplier actually had to buy the unit from Dana as they don't have any part of the warranty...

Well, months later after being denied warranty from Ford, my supplier was finally able to get a new magnet from Dana/Spicer. Old one ohms 0-0.1 new one ohms 3.7-3.9.
