7 months 16k miles and all good. Prior vehicle was a jkur, 150k miles in under 2 years and never a crack. I drive hard but I drive smart ;o) oh and yes I have a hood deflector! Looks good on Carbonized gray
No Forscan was used.
Amber Signal:
The amber turn signal wires were physically run from the BCM. If you've ever installed a stereo system...speakers and an amplifier in the cargo area or trunk of a vehicle, this will be easy, running 2 turn signal leads from the BCM is a cakewalk (see attached...
And it comes to an end.
'24 Black Diamond fitted with OEM Signature tail lights are operating as they should, flicker free with yellow turn signals (rather than red turn signals routed to the brake light via Forscan).
To eliminate tail light flicker I ended up bypassing the bcm's positive park...
Every time I'm next to a jeep at a stop light or driving past one in opposing traffic and there's a grown man with a dash full of ducks driving it, I've notice that he goes out of his way to avoid eye contact with me in my Bronco...
The only unknown is, the bcm also has a LED signal outage wire, between the tails and bcm, that needs to be installed on non signature light trucks. This wire sends a voltage signal back to the bcm from the tail lights when the led light are functioning correctly. The question is, without...
I've tried modifying asbuilt Duty_Cycle and a few other data to match '24 Broncos equipped with signature lighting using data copied from motorcraftservice to no avail. I also reset "enhanced lighting" in foscan...nada.
I'm in the process or running those 3 missing wires from the bcm to the...
Yes, those aftermarket tail lights tap into the high mount brake light for brake light function. Leaving the standard Halogen signals for the signal light. Forscan only needed to kill hyper flashing
We are on the same page. Just today I ordered 10awg wire from Amazon. Yes, I'm hoping this would help. There is also a turn outage wire that needs to be run from the bcm as well. See the 1st post in this thread.
Yes, combining brake and turn signals in forscan gives us the turn signal. I actually like to look of the red turn signal over the center yellow signal
Alsoooo, vehicles not equipped with OEM signature lighting do not have the turn signal lead at the BCM. There is also a turn signal outage lead missing at the BCM on none signature lighting vehicles. I confirmed this on my Black Diamond.
I found this FORScan spreadsheet for 2015-2020 F150s...
In the BCM (JUST) tab there is a section marked Duty_VRMS as well as RMS.
There is also a "Frequency Select Cfg section with options for LED or Halogen

To add to this, my 24 Black Diamond OEM swapped LED tails only flicker/pulsate when the engine is running. When the engine is off the tails do not flicker.
Tell me about it! There must be a way to tell the Bronco that the tails are no longer Halogen but LED. Just yesterday I contacted a tech at the dealer and bribed him with $50 if he could figure it out using IDS or FDRS...waiting to hear back.
I don't think I've encountered the fast pumping...
Hi there! 23' - 24' Bronco.
For anyone that has sold their factory soft top, i'm looking to buy your body mounted soft top hardware. These hardware pieces are roll bar and cargo area mounts that are only used by the soft top and not needed otherwise.
I purchased a used soft top but now need...
I also tried this but on my 24 black diamond, the turn signal wire needs to be installed at the bcm and ran to the back of the truck. The harness that runs from the bcm to the cargo area is missing the turn signal lead.
Something that I noticed and tested a few times. When starting the truck using the key remote start, the rear leds do not flicker while the truck is running. The flicker starts after you get in the truck and press the dash start button.
