The sub housing is back there and includes a speaker less magnet as well as a dummy amp. Some have fitted functional speaker/amp combo making it functional.
PPF was $1500. I considered doing it myself, but didnāt want to screw it up, and the price didn't seem too bad.
What are you being quoted?
Fyi, hereās a source for the DIY option: https://precutppf.store/
I ended up buying a 2-dr BL Squatch, which I really like, but if I was able to order, my spec would be 2-dr BL non-Squatch with those stock wheels and 33ā tires. The best looking Bronco of them all, IMO.
Nice truck and good luck.
I went with PPF on nose (18ā deep), headlight lenses, windshield frame and rockers, and front mud flaps. That should keep stone chips to a minimum.
Enjoy.
Hereās what the IAG Miniās look like. They āplugā into factory rock rails. They are small, but used with PPF along rockers/lower door should be effective.
$800 probably covered the amount of time it took them to diagnose the issue, plus correct it, so somewhat understandable. At least you have peace of mind knowing it's nothing serious.
I have Ford all-weather mats in my BL with washout floors and they are real niceā¦fit perfectly. Not to mention they have Ford and Bronco logo. Good luck.
