I've had hard and soft top Wranglers. If you are new to removeable tops you may want to consider storage. Never really did find a good place to store a Dozer yellow hardtop. Modern soft tops are not drafty or cold these days
I look at mine every day! A lot of days I think I should probably just keep it a couple more years and escape the madness (especially since I really really prefer a soft top)
Never thought about it like that but it sure is!
I was along for the ride on the JL launch. People have no idea how long things like 2 doors, extra tops, manual transmissions and the like can take. I had an end of July delivery last time and don't want to take the extra depreciation hit again so I am sitting on the sidelines and getting a...
Things have a way of working out. Worst case is not everything fits and you ship a couple things at your own hassle and expense.
In the JL Wrangler world, dual tops and some of the accessory type items were associated with delays in production and delivery during the launch
Yes, I can afford it, but the question is if I want to afford it. I do have a perfectly good JL Rubicon with 21K miles that I actually like pretty well. Certain to be more increases for the MY '22 crowd like me
Your Toyota is one of the nicest ones I have seen in a long time!
I'm probably in the minority here, but personally I do not choose to own foreign vehicles.
2018 JL Rubi and 2019 GC Trailhawk owner here. Biggest problem with FCA is that you know you need an extended warranty but realize that the service departments in general are resistant to warranty work and extending it is futile...
As far as what configurations or options might cause delays, we could probably learn from the Jeep folks who were waiting on the JL launch. A couple things come to mind....2 doors, soft tops, manual transmissions, sound deadening, cargo management
Last time with my JL Wrangler, the local dealers had no interest in coming anywhere close to the volume deal from a few states away, and I suspect it will be the same with my Bronco. Buying out of state was so smooth and easy compared to the usual process that I will not hesitate to do it this...
For whatever reason, reservation numbers do not seem to be assigned sequentially... I see one from today that is almost 5K lower than mine from yesterday...
I am in a holding pattern waiting to see how this plays out. I need either a factory soft top or the hard top to be light enough to be easily removable by one person. And realistically, based on my experience with the JL Wrangler launch, it's likely to be awhile before the 2 doors are built...
Speaking of $100 Bill's, has the doc fee on the X plan pricing been updated? Last time I used it a few years back it was capped at $100 by Ford unless state law provided for a even lower amount.
