    Michigan Bronco Club

A few of us are heading to Holly Oaks this Saturday (Nov. 9th) to play with our Broncos. We will be there about 9:30 to help anyone who has not been before get set up and into the park. Opening at 10AM, come out and have some fun!
  2. 35s on Non-Sasquatch 2023 Badlands

I have had the stock SQ tires and my stock 33”Badlands wheels for about a year. I used spacers to match the backspacing of the SQ wheel and removed the crash bars. No issues with lots of full articulation wheeling. I wil say the rack is really struggling even with the ultra light GoodYear...
  3. Under Hood Air Compressor Options

I’m not buying or selling. I can tell you the guy that developed the mount has tested and measured several different compressors and configurations (he does not sell compressors, just the mount). The “resting” temperature of the compressor, when not running is nowhere near the operating...
  4. Under Hood Air Compressor Options

If you look at the write up you will note I don’t plan to use this compressor for anything other than filling tires. The operating temperature of the compressor shows little or no variation on the mount or used as a portable compressor. You can also mount the Viaair compressor to the mount...
  5. Under Hood Air Compressor Options

The guy who developed the mount has done a ton of testing. The control unit shows no change in temperature in his tests and the ambient temperature doesn’t seem to affect the compressor at all (other than being at the under hood temperature all the time). He did have his first compressor fail...
  6. Under Hood Air Compressor Options

For those of you looking for an under hood option to mount an air compressor, I have detailed the setup I am currently putting together. I have a JD Marz under hood compressor mount, but I have been moving my Viaair between my Bronco and F150. I don’t really like the bungie mounting method, so...
  7. 35" KO2s vs 33" KO3s or...

For reference, I went reference, I went from the kO2 285/7017 to the GY Territory 315/70/17 with the stock wheel and spacers. After adjusting the tie size with Forscan, it’s and .2 mpg lower. The GY is a very light tire. I am ready to replace the GY and I am looking at the Falken AT4 35x11.50...

  9. Michigan Bronco Club Takes on Drummond Island

That was Zach. His Bronco is a beast and he wheels it pretty hard! This was a prior incident, he didn't want to completely remove it for the trip, to maintain a "legal" mirror :)
  10. Michigan Bronco Club Takes on Drummond Island

The changes at Marblehead were definitely odd and disappointing, but it didn’t really make the trip much different. There are still two lines to run and the park (Turtle Ridge) is really the best place to play on hard lines.

  12. Michigan Bronco Club Takes on Drummond Island

We broke out in three groups and staggered routes. We did get bunched up after lunch, but it all worked out pretty well.
  13. Michigan Bronco Club Takes on Drummond Island

The Michigan Bronco Club brough 34 Gen 6 and 1 Gen 1 to Drummond Island for a weekend of fun and trails. We had a lot more Broncos on 37s this year, with a Braptor and a host of 2 and 4dr models rolling on 37s. Did the Badlands on stock 33s make it? Yep, it was great all weekend as well. If...

There are a few off road parks south of HWY 10, Holly Oaks being the only one close to metro Detroit. It has a wide variety of terrain and it’s fun for any model Bronco. We don’t get as much traffic on B6g. The club has a forum (no ads, no tracking, we host) https://forums.michiganbroncos.club/...

  19. Equipment Recommendations for Airing Up

It’s just one bracket. Install took about 30 minutes. I used a quick disconnect on the 12v connection.
