Given your wants I would say the BB would. Unless you wanted something in the high or lux packages, then the obx would be better.
Keep in mind the interiors are different between the two also....not sure if that matters to you.
The 8th, 9th, and 10th gears are all lower than 1 to 1 so you would be using those on the highway most likely.
I doubt you would notice much unless you plan on high speed highway driving...only then should you notice engine rpms being higher than if you were to use the open 3.73 geared diff...
The gear ratio on the locking differential is 4.27 and the ratio on the open diff is 3.73, so yes, there is a difference.
As said in other threads, the higher 4.27 gearing will work better with larger diameter tires, if you decide to upgrade.
If you stick with the stock diameter tires you...
I will bet you that the aftermarket will probably have fender flares in multiple colors, and they will probably be out at the same time the Bronco starts hitting the streets.
You mean the hardtops that aren't going to be available until sometime next year?...maybe?
So instead their devious plan was to make gray tops so every one cancels their orders until next year.
That's genius!!!!
I was planning on the OBX as well but the option of either blue or bronze interior turned me off.
I call it bronze after seeing the end piece of the upper dash in the sun. It's smooth and shiny...and it looks nasty.
I am assuming that the blue will look the same.
I dont want mgv for the same...
