For this type of vehicle there's no need for a non refundable deposit. The dealer would be able to turn around and sell it in an instant so If the buyer walks they will have another by the next day. So in this situation, the dealer is essentially double dipping. They are keeping the $1000...

The $1000 deposit is not a big deal to me. What bothers me is the non-refundable part. That's B.S. and I would call Ford customer service or whomever it is in Detroit that is handling Bronco and tell them about that dealer. If they say it's fine then I would find a new dealer. I bet they won't...

I bought a 2020 Ranger. There are too many hurdles jumped and deadlines that have been missed. Too much scrambling to cobble together existing Broncos. Too much bait and switch. I'm waiting a couple years for the dust to settle. My worry is these first year Broncos will not be at the quality...
