I bought the Milwaukee M18 inflator due to the recommendations in this forum.
I figured I might was well get an M18 impact since I now have the battery. (Also got an M12 ratchet.)
I’m shocked at the prices for these, especially since I already had the equivalent air tools.
But I was also...
I installed my cargo liner trunk mat that arrived today.
I didn't think I needed one until I had to take apart a tie-down in order to clean up dog puke.
I live in the Pacific NorthWet, where silver cars tend to disappear on dreary days. The DRL help.
I liked the green on my Range Rover, but it was British.
With CarPlay and a 12” screen, why would you need this?
I got a wireless charger inside the console so it’s out of sight if I accidentally leave it in the rig.
I ordered it with my 2024 but it hasn’t been installed yet.
Sales critter said it would take 6 hours. His lips were moving.
Someone PMed me and said it only took 45 minutes.
You have to be careful about that. I recall that switching from a hygroscopic DOT 4 to silicone DOT 5 requires a flush to get all of the old brake fluid out first (flush with alcohol, I think), because they are not compatible.
My oldest Harley runs DOT 5 as many old Harleys have in the past...
My sales critter didn't know what a break-in is and said it wasn't needed. He was young and ignorant, so he can be forgiven.
But the older guy that explained my Bronco's features also said it wasn't needed. No excuse for that.
Then again, their lips *were* moving, so everything they said was...
Yes, the THE MAGNUSON-MOSS WARRANTY ACT allows you to do your own oil change and still maintain your warranty, as long as you have proof.
I'll be doing my oil changes every 5k with Mobil 1. I'm bad at taking records so this is easy to remember. I'll probably do it at 1k, just to feel...
FYI, I picked up my Bronco this week and the sales critter was showing me around the car. He was impressed with the sound deadening in the roof and mentioned this was the 3rd iteration of it (due to noise and water ingress). He thought the 3rd iteration came out in 2023 and they have water run...
I bought air tags for my keys (so expensive to replace) and the Bronco.
I heard a story where the guy tracked his stolen car from Canada to the Middle East.
Doubt that would work anymore, they changed air tags so they will start beeping after tracking for 3 days. (To prevent stalking and other...
I picked mine up yesterday. Took 6 days after railroad car arrived. Only 11 miles on it.
Have to take it back to get the trailer hitch installed. Apparently it's a 6 hour job.
Probably true.
I’ve had SUVs since the 80s, Cherokees and a Range Rover.
My kids are grown, I don’t need a 4 door, and most Broncos are automatics. I’m probably a minor demographic with my demand for 2 door and a manual. Very rare.
Mine arrived in Kent and they said it would take 10 days.
Probably like when they give a pregnant woman a due date, IMO they extend the date so that the woman doesn't get upset when due date comes and they are still pregnant.
(Just seems like many pregnancies happen a couple weeks before due date.)
