Glad to hear this worked out well for you, and the results were exactly what you wanted. Hard to put a price on satisfaction.
Good luck on the trails. Look forward to seeing photos and videos of your future adventures.
I would hold off on this & do some more research. My understanding was the FP lift kit doesnāt have any adjustability and basically gets non-SAS Broncos to SAS level.
The caveat being you have a Badlands non-SAS which is only about 0.43ā lower than the SAS. Both Badlands non-SAS and all SAS...
@Rokcwlr looking at your pics one thing that concerned me was limited thread engagement on that right nut. I would keep an eye on it as I could see it potentially loosening with normal use/jarring. Maybe replace with a slightly longer bolt assuming the extra length wonāt interfere with...
Clearly, that Braptor had the new ProCal tuner. š
Seriously, hate to see stuff like this. Makes me real hesitant to let others āhelpā if Iām stuck. Just a thoughtless bad decision that was lucky it wasnāt worse.
Thank you for a detailed & useful answer. Usually I only hear crickets when I ask things like these.
I know most folks care most about aesthetics but I like products that also add strength & functionality. Itās nice to see you guys are doing both.
Welds look good. And for those interested, removing the bumper is about a 10-15 minute process. Very easy & straightforward.
Iām guessing you have to swap the standard D rings? Itās been a bit since I swapped my capable out but I donāt recall seeing anything that you could screw the back of...
I am about to remove my silver Bronco emblem. Assuming I donāt break it removing do you have any interest in it? Granted you would need new 3M adhesive.
Just my 2 cents but I would consider trying to order through Lethal Performance. I think they have a B6G discount on top of their $232 price. The caveat is their shipping costs, so will put you close to retail depending on specifics.
But given some of your other issues may still be...
Definitely going to need more beer. Itās a 26 hour haul just to get there. Never been to CA (outside about half a day doing the loop around Lake Tahoe) so trail runs while in town are a must plus potential repair time. šš
Seriously, appreciate the insight about nothing changing on the programming.
Brian, I will take How to Piss Away Money, Waste Everyoneās Time & Piss off Your Customer Base for $500 please.
Zero f*cking sense they donāt actually resolve the issue instead of half assing it.
Bonus question of the day: Why is it you can buy a 24+ Badlands non-SAS and it comes stock with...
I would be hesitant of this design. A single bolt in the upper and lower hinges donāt seem strong enough. I suspect this is why other options utilize the hinge bolts also.
Any true & honest feedback of this support? Not promoter garbage.
@DMSCS I also have a Badlands non-SAS, and recently upgraded to 37ās. Installing an upgraded rack is on my radar.
As noted, it seems about any install with ProCal has been a PITA, more so if a previous tune was installed as it skips over some of the files needed.
However, even if the stars...
Here is a video of a review that Shock Surplus did on the Eibach kit about a year ago. Short version they liked them a lot but echoed similar concerns with 37ās. They go into tire dribble on the 37ās around the 5:18 mark.
They mention in the video that Eibach says this kit isnāt recommended...
Yeah I think @Gotchaa may have misunderstood. The access holes are so you can secure the hard top in place. I havenāt ran any @JTopsUSA products on the Bronco yet but from other conversations about the mesh top you have to unhook the Bimini at the front but otherwise can leave in place with the...
I cancelled my order before shipment so I havenāt been able to examine up close. My speculation is the cracks are due to thermal cycling and the bond between the metal plate and plastic is cracking as noted.
Perhaps making so fast and not letting fully cure before shipping? Obviously demand is...
Go ahead and take whatever cash you have in your wallet and toss in a bucket and then light it on fire. It will help mentally prepare you for this journey.
Seriously, have fun with it. Go hit some trails and learn what you really need and want.
Glad to hear they are working with you. Iād expect no less. One of the pitfalls of being an early adopter is working out the kinks. Doesnāt sound too painful to resolve, just frustrating as Iām sure you want it done.
When I did my BAMF bumper & winch install I optioned to also install some...
I'm seeing your responses. Just been swamped today trying to meet project deadlines for work. Puts a real hamper on my Bronco forum time, lol.
Iām excited to hear there will be a special intro pricing the month of March. My bday is 3/5. Maybe I will pull a wife shenanigan and order a top and...
