With my bumpers, winch, sliders, 37’s, etc I’ve already upgraded I could see myself doing a brake upgrade at some point. It’s not horrible IMO but I’ve noticed some decreased braking capacity.
Do your Baer kits work with 17” wheels? I recently upgraded to Icon Rebound Pros, 17x8.5 and would...
Short answer….fire risk. Winch wires carry lots of amps, usually 400+ at max load. Having control is a good thing. Sleeving your wires is also smart. Upsizing wires appropriately are good too.
While we may think trail related instances, it could be from a wreck driving to work. Also potential...
Guessing you have the 2.3 engine? Didn’t realize the layout was so different.
What’s the scoop with the heat shrink tubes? Just take a pic before you heated them up?
I had a difficult time finding some boots that were the right size. I ended up using liquid electrical tape. Kind of messy and...
I used a 500a relay and used AUX3 as my trigger. Dead as a door nail until I flip on the aux switch. Not necessary but peace of mind.
in my case I also relocated the winch solenoid under the hood, but mainly to allow me to suck the bumper as tight as possible and increase air flow.
Different winch & mount solution but I also noticed the offset during install.
Of all the reason I noticed, it was because I had to install the winch to the bumper before installing both the bumper & winch as a unit to the Bronco. Once you do that you still have some cleanup work for parking...
LOL, I ordered my BAMF bumper 4/30and took about 5 months to get here. In fairness I knew it was going to be a few months but the lead time grew longer as they moved shops, etc.
Love the quality but that lead time was a killer!
On the flip side my TOR rear bumper showed up in a week or so of...
I had the capable before upgrading. My guess is you pop the plastic bumps off, unbolt the other D rings and install the modular hooks. Then trim the plastics to fit.
I get the wiring irritation. I spent a lot of time getting that aspect hammered out. In my case I relocated the solenoid under the hood and also installed a relay that is powered by aux 3.
However, snaking of wires and all that extra was 100% on me. Warn provides wires and you do what works...
I may have screwed myself calling in to check on my order the other day. They sent me an email giving me an updated status alright — my order was cancelled per MY request!
Well not really my request, but it was cancelled either way. Called back and they said the parts were on back order. The...
Can’t speak to what @DewarT has seen.
The Ford Warn winch kit does include frame horn supports. not sure how they compare strength wise to other options.

I will check the model numbers on my springs tonight when I get home but I also have my stock stuff just taking up space in my garage.
Mine is a 4 door Badlands non-SAS, 2.7, hard top & tow package. Been awhile since I looked at that chart but I *think* my stock springs should be one of the...
Recently installed BAMF front bumper & Warn 12k EVO winch. Combined weight was around 200#. A few thoughts.
1. As noted by @GreyZ, the weight won’t be fun to move & lift in place. Granted it would be a little lighter than my setup, about 120-130# with winch. During install I used my floor jack...
Not sure about the size. The instructions say you have to move it to the right about 1” which is why I think a new one is included.
I had bought a matte black one to swap out anyhow awhile back. Expensive little sucker. $80 for the matte black. Gloss one was $45 or so.
I want the black horse...
FWIW, I called FP to check on my order today. I ordered 2/1 and it’s still “processing”.
The rep said it MAY be on back order but he needed to elevate it so I could get a better answer and lead time if it was truly on back order. He gave me a case number and someone is supposed to email me an...
Ugh….hearing a pop is never bueno. Crazy that walking did it!
LOL I feel your pain with the tires. After doing my lift, etc a few weeks ago I was unloading my stock wheels/tires and stacking them up. First 3 wasn’t too bad. The last 2 I was puffing as they were about chest to head level...
@Snacktime have you had a chance to test out the Eibach 2.0 coilovers with their HD springs? The actual kit and not piece mealing it together.
I went this route to help offset the weight gain I picked up when putting new front & rear bumpers on along with a front winch. Also I went to Yoko...
