48amps from my research on the connectors. The Brushless have a maximum output of 90 amps, so 45 amps per connector/compressor.
The power harness uses dual 60 amp MIDI fuses.
It's not operating at 120 amps (60 amps per). The fuses are always slightly rated higher then the actual load requirement.
The new brushless do have some technology built in. But there's no draw upon initial power connection.
The same way your truck's relays will click if you re-connect the battery lead.
That’s how your supposed to install it - the small red wire (on the brushless… it’s the small purple wire on the regular twin) is the relay trigger
Just follow our instructions. Instead of running that red wire to the upfitter you'll just follow my instructions above and wire it to the ARB switch. Then bring in +12VDC and -12VDC to the switch as well and connect it accordingly.
Did you buy your kit from us? If so, follow the instructions that came with our kit only use the information provided above to wire a switch in.
You don't need to follow the confusing ARB instructions if you are not running lockers or any of those other things. I usually cut/tape off the other...
Pretty easy.
On the brushless air compressor is a harness that has 4 small wires. The red wire is your TRIGGER wire.
You need to provide power to this to turn the compressor on.
So you would use a Switch to do this. The switch needs (at a minimum) +12VDC going into it, so that when its...
You can always order those as well since your order has not shipped from us (it won't till tomorrow or so, as we're closed today due to the blizzard that hit long island... STILL hitting long island)
so with the ssc2 2.0 you can change the lenses and colors any time you want - you can go with the setup now and layer change the lenses to say a white driving if you wanted as an example
ss3 can also be changed you just can’t change colors is all
Came out great. Got more photos of how you routed the wire :) I told you I gave you a lot of wire as I wasn't 100% sure how you planned to run the wiers.
We usually fold the wires up and zip tie them. Then tuck them into the fender area OR along the battery side.
Attach your upfitter then route the extra slack along the battery and back/forth. Keeps it neat and out of the way and if you ever need more wire later you have it.
So you'll need a pair of 2Banger lights and our harness to complete your kit. Optionally, our a-pillar bracket which helps sandwich the 2 cowl pieces down flat and makes for a cleaner installation.
Spot is ideal for distance, although with 2Bangers they are not that big so you're not going to...
We're very friendly. You wanted to return an order to us 7 months after you received it and we explained that we could not take an order back that is 7 months old. I don't know any company that would. Then when we explained we could not due to the age you started getting nasty with us. I was...
It’s entirely up to you and what you need lighting for
fogs are for fog use (low and wide)
Combos for back roads
Spots for down range and distance although they aren’t wide at all)
If you want fogs and off-road lights for deer and you are set on SSC2... then SSC2 Max Fog and SSC2 Max Combo is...
Yes we provide our triple harness so that you can add a 3rd pair of lights later.
I would go with SS3 Max in White Fog, SS3 Max in Yellow Fog if you were doing a 2 light setup. But since you mentioned the SSC2... go with SSC2 Max in white Fog and SSC2 Max in Yellow Fog.
If you don't care about...
They are great. A nice improvement over the old SSC2.
Brighter.
More mounting options
Max are now an option.
Lifetime warranty now.
White LEDS (meaning if you get YELLOW SSC2 2.0 and want to go to WHITE later, you can!)
We have some great kits on our site featuring them. In fact, it's all we...
