My vehicle is a FE and has the remote start. I installed it and it took me dialing in the sensor and taping the vehicle. At first I didn’t think it was working and played with the knob and tuned it up and got it to notice the taps on body. Then I dialed it down this took a few times but on mine...
See the pictures above that is the correct location on the plug in. Take the glove box out and look to the right and you will see the metal box pictured to the right the plug is on the bottom and a mofo to unplug but can be done. Then just marry that plug once you unplug it to the wires you have...
I saw a few post on this just so many different bronco groups it is hard to keep track of the location that it was posted on. Mine is 20490 so basically middle of the pack if the 922 is correct.
I wonder what the true break down of the FE's will be and would like to know the true numbers. I bought a 2dr FE LB and plan to enjoy it and was not looking to flip it and or trade it to get the raptor bronco.
I tried to get in there to pull that damn plug last week and just couldn't get it and cut my finger on something pretty good so I gave up. Did you take the module out to unplug it as it is hard to get a grip on it to unplug it.
I believe that is correct and just have yet to get it done.
I couldn't believe the dealership wanted so much but not that surprised at all. Hence why I choose to buy my Bronco in Salina Kansas and have it shipped in.
LOL it was worse than I thought they want $140 for the install. One dealer gave me the run around and I just left and called the dealer I took my Raptor and he said it was $140. I can wait till I can get my hands on the instructions that is totally ridiculous when the part is approx $199
The model is the shock sensor. As for instructions good luck I have yet to find any. Shouldn’t be this hard to install. I have the pics but can’t really tell locations the other ends came from above? Then he had the two pink wires and my unit doesn’t have it.
Have you had a chance to take the picture ? Wish they would have had instructions for the Bronco as I did this one my Raptor and it was pretty straight forward.
