I bought these but never used them. The dealer offered me factory running boards for free. Never mounted and come with orange accents. $375 shipped your door. I set up a link on my company website so you can use a credit card to purchase. I'll bubble wrap them up and get them out the door...
I think I just may have more experience than many so take it as you will. I ahve also worked in every department in a car dealership so I do know what I am talking about not just blowing smoke.
I have had a bunch of Fords. I had a Mustang GT that I put 69K on in 15 months and never changed the oil. Drove the piss out of it and the only thing that broke was a power door lock motor. My Focus I used as a truck. I put so much ammo in the back that the front wheels would spin. Basically...
Ford quality issues? BS. I have had a bunch of Fords and a new Bronco and they are generally heads above the pack. EVERY new car has issues especially a brand new one. If you can't stand the heat stay out of the kitchen!
So....If you're unhappy with your Bronco go trade it on something without...
....and then there is common sense or the lack there of. Never go into water if you're not sure how deep and never try to go over something that is obviously higher than your ground clearance. I read a lot of these "issues" "not a this or that" posts and 99% of them involve lack of common sense...
I've had them before and most of my trail riding involves a lot of mud and never had a problem except in marl mud. Nothing works in that. Sounds like operator failure to me.
I was a car dealer for over 30 years. I have owned over 50 personal vehicles including 3 Broncos (77, 94 and 96) and 3 Jeeps (85, 90 and 05) not to mention all the ones I took off the lot and drove. The current generation Bronco is the same as it has always been. It was never a hard core, off...
How did they get the key? That's how they stole it. You need to keep the key in a place they cannot read the RFID. They look for cars they can scan and clone. If the key is safe so is your Bronco. I bought 2 RFID pouches on Amazon for $9.99 and slip the key in when I get home just in case. Never...
I guess you miss the point. It doesn't matter how exact the figures are actually the NHTSA says something like 50 but it's still a raindrop in the Pacific ocean. If it scares you go buy a General Motors or Chrysler product. Of course the Bronco is better than anything either one makes but...
I think everyone who whines about this should cancel their orders and buy a Chevy. If they built 60,000 units? 33 out of those 60,000 is 0.00055 percent of production. Since Ford has already acknowledged the defect why cry? That's what warranties are for. Porsche had intermediate engine shaft...
What's the point of complaining? It's a flat, almost vertical piece of glass on a square block of a vehicle. Should of thought of that before you bought it. Every vehicle I have owned had stone chips of some sort and at least 2 had to have the windshield replaced.
