Just wanted to make a clarifying post on the contest parameters:
Initially I had posted a "final delivery" award, but as Cat pointed out, that introduces a lot of variables in terms of shipping time due to geographic location, etc. That also brings in the possibility of someone's Bronco...
As of now it looks like we have 26 people in the running for the out of purgatory award:
Duke.Roughneck
bobbib
JBoi-ET
Eljohno
sanner
towboater
Kuze
cybercoaster
RealRacingX
BEARD BROS
TNLandCruiser
Cat
Cszmom
MarkSquatch
Pdog1975
Schmohawk
S4DDLUP
Nfearno34...
Yup lol, I'm going to be calling multiple times a day once I get the rail car number.
I'll definitely be watching. I'm an LSU fan so it's great to see Burrow doing this his second year in the league.
Sorry for the delayed response, but thinking about it more I think you're right and it should be last out of purgatory. And either of those 3 you mentioned qualify as getting out of purgatory.
Yeah, if it's going to be out of production the only concrete date I can think of to use is the "built" status on the tracker. The tracker isn't always reliable, so the actual delivery may be the best method.
So I monitor my dealer's shipments on United Road and every once in a while try to put my VIN. It's always showed no orders, but now it comes up as inactive! Things are getting real now. Hopefully next week I can get a rail car # if it ships by then.
After Alvin joked about having a cat trophy for the winner I decided it had to come to reality. So along with the prize fund, our last delivered “winner” will receive the prestigious last delivered cat award:
In case y’all haven’t seen the thread, IAG is releasing a soft top lift assist product for both putting it back up and lifting the back up to access the cargo. I might have to get this myself...
