Upgraded recently (Audio control 5 channel amp, stinger box, Kicker ks front and rear. Everything sounds good, but I like to listen to my music really loud, and the Kickers are not cutting it. What are some other options? Seems like most people are on Kickers
Bought 2 pairs of 47KSC404, but while tuning the amp, I think I blew one of the front speakers. I'm not super impressed with them, so I was thinking of getting something a bit better, since I have to replace them anyway. Is it crazy to keep the Kickers in the rear, and just change the front ones?
Have an Audiocontrol LC-5.1300 that has a crossover know for the front speakers. I originally had some bass blockers on the dash speakers, but was having issues with the front speakers cutting out at higher volumes. I took them out and the problem went away.
If bass blockers are supposed to...
I kinda did. I have the harness from plugnplay kits so I just switched speakers around (left to right, right to left), still had the same issue on the driver side. However, I noticed that both speakers cut out. What should I do in that case?
Recently upgraded my speakers from non-B&O. Replaced rear pods and front speakers, add AudioControl LC5-1.300 from plugnplay kits and added a stinger box. It sounds great, but the driver's side front speaker cuts on and off while I listen to music, I think I've heard it happen more when it's at...
I have a Stinger subwoofer box and an Audiocontrol LC-5 1.300 with the harness, bought from plugnplaykits. I've hooked up everything, getting sound from all the speakers, but the sub is not turning on. Can anyone look if I have something hooked up incorrectly, or steps to figure out what's wrong?
Got a link to even one post of someone running a Kicker Key 500.1 and the Stinger box? I have searched the forums and there are zero posts of someone with that amp and sub.
I was originally going to go this route, called the plugnplay guy and he said it would be underpowered with the 500.1. Ended up getting a 5 channel amp which I'll install this weekend with the stinger box, we'll see how easy it is
Also, I want to mount the amp by the rear wheel well, behind the panels. I've seen many pics with them mounted there but... How exactly is it fixed in place there? Is there like a standard screw formation where I can screw in anything? Velcro? Something else?
