Welcome! Yeah it's been about 15 years for me, had a '94 Grand Cherokee that I used to use to have some fun, but that was back in NY/MA. Definitely excited to get back at it with the wife and dog (no kids yet) and go see some awesome stuff that you just can't with most SUVs and cars. Thanks for...
Hello to the other 2 members we have so far! Feel free to post any trails you've been to and recommend! Also where is everyone from? I live just outside of Charlottesville, wife works for UVA (like almost everyone around here) and I do cyber stuff and things. Ex-Army Ordnance Officer with EOD...
I agree, but I also feel like times have changed in the way that they have to properly test all the options for fit and finish and longevity and safety (along with the paint--minus the safety part) that they didn't have to back in the day. Also think that they produced all those options...
@Afro thanks for this great write up! I'm also vertically challenged so it's good to know that even with sasquatch I won't look too foolish climbing in at 5'5 :D

Also would be nice if this made people get out of the left lane instead of coasting at whatever speed they choose in it.
Had the atak on my challenger, really wasn't bad at all. Only when you really put your foot down does the exhaust come alive and sound like a demon and scream. If your just driving normally it's fine.
Definitely agree with you and @Phil_Is_My_Middle_Name . I want the 2 door but sometimes the 4 door just looks awesome. I think for the swampy tight wooded trails and logging roads of VA that will be the majority of my off-roading, the 2 door would suite me better. Even though the cargo space of...
It's a toss up pretty much daily, but I think I'm gonna stick with the 2 door. I love the coupe look. Had a challenger and now a 2 door (technically 3 cause of the hatch) gti. The wife has a 2011 4 door escape (FWD only though) that gets good MPG and can be the hauler. No kids and only a 60+ lbs...
