I would say go for it. The Sasquatch package is a bit overkill for my purposes as well, but, there's more to the Squatch than just the 35s, so, if it ends up that I don't like the 35s? It'll be much easier to go down to 33s while still retaining the other features that Sasquatch brings.
I had it confirmed when I called to change to a different dealership. I asked them at that point if when it came time to order if I could change to a different trim or if I'd need to place a new reservation (at the point a Black Diamond to a Wildtrak) and was told that when we were called to...
If it does happen that we're locked into what we reserved. Then, I would probably keep my Black Diamond reservation. It wouldn't be too different from the Big Bend build I'm aiming for, so, not a huge issue.
Same here in North Central Missouri. There are a ton of Wranglers around my area. Granted, that's probably due to having two Jeep dealerships nearby.
Still! That's a ton of Wranglers roaming about. The Bronco will be a welcome change in scenery.
This. Every vehicle around where we live seems to be white, silver, gray, or red. *laughs* Hell, I'm guilty as well with a dark gray F-150 and red Jeep Patriot. Looking forward to my Area 51 Bronco sitting in my driveway.
Neither option, I'm afraid. I was originally all in on the Wildtrak, but, the interior as well as the patchwork look of it turned me off of it completely.
I entertained the thought of a Badlands, but, I'll never use the Swaybar disco, and I'm not keen on paying that much for features that I...
Agreed. The grille for the Big Bend has always been my favorite out of all the different trims, and I was initially digging the fact that the Wildtrak had the same style and was all in on getting one since it came with pretty much everything I was wanting. However, they changed it to a Glossy...
Despite the numerous issues, I'm still hanging onto my reservation and converting it into an order come December.
I think the only thing right now that'll make me drop my reservation is if my delivery is pushed into 2022 due to the allocations. If that's the case then screw it! I'll just...
Well, I went from one extreme to the next: Aiming for a Wildtrak, now, I'll be buying a Big Bend instead. *laughs* I had also considered a Squatched out Badlands, but, since I'm not intending to do much in the way of hardcore off-roading, there's not much point in spending that much on features...
My build:
4 door Big Bend
Area 51
V6/Auto
Sasquatch
Floor Liners
Aux Switches
Advanced 4x4
Signature LED lighting
Mid Package
MiC Hard top
Sound Deadening Headliner
Sandstone Interior
Yep, I've given up on the Wildtrak, sadly. I was initially extremely excited about it, but now? A Squatched Badlands is sounding pretty good right now.
Oh, I am loving that Sandstone interior on the Big Bend! That, and the MGV for the Badlands and Black Diamond.
So, Big Bend, Black Diamond, or Badlands it is! Now for the B&P to help me decide.
The B&P page is gonna crash so hard when it launches. :ROFLMAO:
Either way, against my better judgement I am primed and ready for 11:01pm Central Time!
At this point, I can't even get excited for the prospect of the B&P launching soon (if it even does.) There's just been too much bullshit from Ford lately and I can't even believe a word they say.
If it launches Friday and is useable? Cool! If not? Figured as much and business as usual.
Definitely in camp 2 here. Jesus H Christ, this is getting ridiculous: All of this allocation confusion and wondering if we're getting pushed to 2022 because of who we reserved through, now we get this announcement of no X-plan for the Bronco.
Ford is just knockin' it straight out of the...
That sadly may be my problem, since I switched dealerships very early on after my initial choice proved to be a little less upfront with me when I asked them about MSRP or Markups and X-plan the only answers I ever got from them was "We'll have to wait to hear from Ford". Whereas the one I ended...
That's the part that's been bugging the hell out of me. I hope they clarify this sometime soon, because as it stands now it appears that those of us going through a smaller dealership are getting shafted for doing so, and our reservations be damned due to the allocation process.
Not keen on...
