Yea it's a terrible system, just like the Taco's "auto high-beam headlights" that flicker on and off constantly if there's a shiny leaf on the side of the road. I've just realized that I've turned all 3 of these driver assist features off since I got it. Auto high-beam, lane-departure warning...
The adaptive cruise in the Taco is GOD AWFUL. Not to mention every time I want to turn cruise control on without adaptive cruise, I have to go through the extra step to turn it off every. damn. time.
He was saying that that figure was wrong. The 2-door and 4-door legroom measurements are listed as the same, but the 4-door should definitely have more legroom.
I mean, before the Bronco was announced, I was pretty set on buying a 5.0 mustang. I LOVE that V8 sound. I wouldn't buy an ecoboost mustang because of lack of V8 sound. A mustang NEEDS the V8 sound.
I'd love to have V8 sound on a Bronco, but it's not something I'm going to fret about. At this...
In regards to the 2.7L:
" The specific output of the engine is now 121 hp/L, versus the 395-hp Ford Coyote 5.0L naturally aspirated V-8 which has a specific output of only 78 hp/L "
I'll be honest, I'm just feeling like people are assuming too much when we know too little. I'm very excited for the Bronco, but I'm not jumping to conclusions on anything yet. We'll get the configurator in August where we can actually see what our options are. Wait for some initial car review...
I mean Ford spent $500 million to develop the 2.7L, so yea they'll be wanting to use that. How many vehicles do you have to sell just to recoup $500 mil? And that's just for the engine.
EDIT: And that $500 million was just for the 1st gen 2.7L Nano. Bronco will be using the second gen Nano that...
Right now I have a Tacoma with a Roam Vagabond RTT. I’m toying with the idea of putting it on a trailer, but that’s much more expensive than the roof rack route. Will have to see what kind of options they come out with. I want to retain the quick ability to take the roof/doors off without the...
Yea it's interesting to compare the Badlands to the Wildtrak.
Badlands 4-door: $44,590
Wildtrak 4-door: $51,370
Difference? $6,780
For $6,780, you're theoretically getting:
- 2.7L
- 10 speed
- Mid Package
- Sasquatch Package
- Black painted hard top
And you're theoretically losing:
-...
I'd have no problem driving 4+ hours if it'll save me a couple grand. Let me know what you figure out. I was considering Granger + shipping as well. Will have to play around with price once I get a response from Keith Hawthorne.
