They reinstated the fine in 2013, it is $200. Also, I want to avoid giving probable cause to get pulled over.

I had my grill wrapped along with the rest of the car w/ Xpel Stealth and it has started to peel within 5 days of being wrapped (after a ~400 mile road trip.) The Xpel guys said they'd redo it for me at no cost. Noticed it when I was hand-washing the grill:
Yep, agreed. I don't care if gauges are accurate at all, just so long as they're consistent. I also don't care if things like cruise control & eco mode are efficient or not.
All things being equal (cruise control, mode, 2wd, etc,) if the gauges consistently told me I was getting 18MPG highway...
Did exactly what you did, same mph and everything, and got 13mpg.
I do have a softop which would impact drag, but I guess the point is I normally get 18 highway and all the sudden I lost 30%.
Filled up with ethanol free 92 or 93 octane @ QT before I left (i normally fill up with ethanol free fuel)
Using the truck's calculator and the mileage was awful even before getting into elevation. I reset the trip at the start of this trip and it was 13mpg immediately in Austin on the highway, not when I got to Colorado or starting to go up in altitude.
