@Mattwings Same here. They never charged me another reservation deposit. Hines Park asked for a $250 deposit when I put my order in which I was happy to provide. :)
Lux, I have had a taste of luxury in my Ram 1500 that I just turned in after 2 years. Unfortunately, I can't go without upgraded audio and a heated steering wheel. I am also excited about the wireless charging and adaptive cruise control as I plan to take many long road trips in an overland camper.
Dearborn. I was there a few weeks ago and saw 3 or so within 5 minutes of driving down Oakwood in front of the proving ground and Greenfield Village. There were also a few parked in a public lot adjacent to one of the engineering buildings on Oakwood.
@atonge40 I agree with you, but I, personally, would like some type of communication from the dealer, even if it is "hey we have your reservation. _______ is your salesperson. We are working out our schedule for ordering." I had to reach our for that much. Its frustrating. I shouldn't have to do...
Does anyone in the Michigan Group have their reservation at Hines Park? I have been less than satisfied with overall communication and general Bronco knowledge from the salesperson. She did tell me that they have 204 reservations but would not tell me my spot in line. No ordering appointment...
I'm not saying my 09 JKU wasn't reliable. My death wobble issues surfaced at around 140k miles. Otherwise it was a ridiculously reliable vehicle for me. I also had the advantage of having a lifetime powertrain warranty (no longer offered). They replaced about 30 gaskets for me when took it in...
Death wobble is an inevitability with any solid front axle vehicle. I experienced it pretty bad on my 09 JKU. The longer you let it go, the worse it will get and the more parts that will need to be replaced in the long run. Surprisingly, worn (but not bald) tires seemed to be a big culprit for...
I got a chance to see a CG in person on both a real Bronco and a Bronco Sport and I can say that this looks nothing like it. This looks like a sky blue. In person, CG looks more flat gray with the blue/green undertones. I was very against this color until I saw it in person, now it is my first...
I would definitely not try to put it on or remove it in the cold because it shrinks and becomes very rigid in cold temperatures. I've never had any issues with snow piling up on top and I live in SE Michigan.
I had a Bestop Trektop on my JK Wrangler and I did not trust it to go through the car wash. I went to the hand wash and tried to keep the hose from spraying directly on the seams. It held up well under those conditions.
Has anyone seen the soft top from the inside? I am a former Wrangler owner and there were options for different levels of quality and insulation on their soft tops. I know that there was one that was at least 2 ply but from the pics I have seen the Bronco soft top looks to be 1 ply. Hopefully...
They are called slush mats and I add them to every vehicle that I buy. They do an excellent job of catching all dirt/mud/water and are really easy to clean. The back seat mat is typically one piece. They are a little more expensive but IMO totally worth the investment, especially in the North.
