    Yep, time needed to produce chips can be anywhere from 6 to 18 months

    Auto dealers cancelled there chip orders, Taiwan Semiconductor is primary source, lead time to make chips is more than 6 months, Taiwan is not China

    I was curious about that too! I think I might have felt a little rushed with the OBX (a lot of folks waiting in line behind me) and moved onto the Black Diamond to quickly, and missed examining the dash closer, my regrets!

    Personally, I suspect they will magically appear in dealer showrooms with a $15,000 to $20,000 additional dealer markup ;-) I would imagine they will still produce the full 7,000 and allocate any not ordered by deadline to high volume dealers as a reward
