Maybe you slipped into a canceled reservation or were a priority build. I heard that if someone canceled right before you reserved, you could slip into their spot. Who knows though, all that matters is your Bronco is just a few months away from being under your butt!
It's because the "offset" is not referring to the wheel as a whole, but rather to the hub mounting surface. Positive offset moves that surface in a "positive" direction relative to the wheel's centerline and vice versa.
Hub mounting surface position and wheel position are inversely related, so...

Wheel offset determines where the mounting surface is in relation to the centerline of the wheel.
0 offset means the mounting surface is on the centerline.
Positive offset moves that surfaces toward the outside of the wheel...
Sasquatch wheels are 17x8.5 with +30 offset, which means 5.93” of backspacing.
Your fuel wheels at 17x9 with -12 offset should have 4.53” of backspacing so you should be fine.
