I suspect both ADV and APG have had this outcome planned for months. I think they gave up on production several months ago and have been buying time ever since.
Likely it fell apart when the offshore manufacture (Temu) sent them a clip of their mfg operations with some hardtops, then ADV...
Here’s what happened. Two small companies that don’t make anything outside of fiberglass fenders, created a hardtop rendering and got 1k+ people to shell out 7k each. They collected millions and spent it.
It’s literally a scene out of Dumb & Dumber.

I've been on point since I called them out for that fake manufacturing video several months back, and well before that. MILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN TOOLING....
Without a doubt, ADV held onto a large portion of the hardtop revenue, maybe to fund a wedding, or other investments... I'll let folks do the research but you'll see what I mean.
ZoomInfo has ADV's revenue at $15.4M, and that isn't from fiberglass fenders.
I don’t think any tops were made, nor do I believe anything will come from ADV or APG as it relates to the hardtop. Both companies are not manufactures, with the exception of fiberglass fenders from ADV.
As I said from the beginning, I suspect this project went off the rails over a year ago...
