  1. Would this annoy any of you?

Did he leave a duck on your Bronco? If so, divorce is totally justified and find new in-laws. As far as one-upping, TBH you have a Badlands vs his Outer Banks. You have one more button on your dash than he does. No amount of lift, new tires, or off-road lights will change that you have the...
  2. Nicked the brake line installing RCHW

This x 1 million. I have had projects where I was exhausted and knew I should rest and finish later or I was going to make a bone headed mistake. Try to push through, make a rookie mistake, let the obsenities fly from the garage. Sorry it happened, glad you are getting it fixed properly (or...
  3. Nicked the brake line installing RCHW

I got you baby! I would personally replace that section of line, but I want you to have all the out of the box options as well. In addition to the above, you could attach a boat anchor to your new winch. Setup a remote from the cab where you can drop the line when your brakes fail and you have...
  4. Ford delivers another customer run…Ford loves DEALER ADMs!

Oooohhh man...for 40-50k you could add a fourth or even fifth wiper blade on the FJ!
  5. 2024 Land Cruiser, 2024 Lexus GX, 2025 6th gen 4Runner - Toyota Triple Header Rollout Begins

Why are we talking about Lexus when Mitsubishi is toying around bringing the Pajero back? We will all be selling our cars and getting in line once this bad boy comes out (kicks the tires and pats the roof). Relevant Link
  6. Illegal to Drive Without Doors [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS]

Funny you say that, because I heard of a Jeeper doing just that on a Wrangler forum. According to the member, the ticket was thrown out / dismissed. It was unknown if it was because of the tube door argument, but it was more suspected that the officer that wrote the citation had a history of...
  7. Dirt Mountain 3.0

Some day you too will get to tell people that the worrying will get you nowhere and eventually you will get your Bronco. That day is unfortunately not today. Like @evilletruck said, you can get fate on your side by going and breaking your right leg. Alternately you could take up shrimping in...
  8. How does Lemon law buyback plan work in Illinois?

Dang. Sorry to hear. I was blown away that the fix involved pulling the motor. Somewhere there is probably a tech hoping those parts never come in.
  9. How does Lemon law buyback plan work in Illinois?

I take it your cam phasers are still out. According to Illinios AG site: Is My Vehicle a Lemon? In order to be covered by the Illinois Lemon Law, a vehicle must: have a nonconformity that both substantially impairs the use , market value or safety of the vehicle and is not repairable by the...
  10. Merchandise

@fender544 , if you feel like they were short on swag or you saw a shirt that you liked but not in your size, call up the location. Google shows their number as (888) 260-5744 . I went with part of a large promo group and merch was grabbed up quick. I called my location back and they sent me...
  11. Can you guys help me with rebates?

I think the consensus has been to contact the Ford Marketing hotline who can verify your certificate numbers. Just use the search function at the top right of the page to search similar posts to yours and get an idea of what you need to do. Here's a recent one to get you started. Good luck!
  12. Best Interior Dust Repellent

A nice layer of mud on the interior hides any dust and debris quite well. There are products that claim to reduce dust accumulation, but they are more referring to dust as in dead skin cells/bacteria/ash...like what you see floating in the light at your house. To clean, as others said leaf...
  13. Possible to remove soft top back and side windows while closed?

Do people steel soft tops in Canada? Think of it from a criminal point of view. How much money do you think you would get on the street or pawn shop selling just the side/rear soft top windows for a particular vehicle? Not that all criminals use their brain, but be more concerned with them...
  14. APG "Ram Air" Hood Trim w/ Heat Extractor in Carbon Fiber

Pssshhhh...I removed my hood a year ago for instant heat extraction and weight savings. I only put it back on for forum profile pics. John Force better say his prayers. Now if it was a 4" rise cowl induction hood...
  15. Is your front end "Feeling not so fresh"?

I add a hint of lavender or other essential oil in my vinegar mixture to keep away the bad things. I am relegated to using SprayWay like @HotdogThud as my wife hates the vinegar smell if I use it on her windows, but it does work well.
  16. PSA video for EcoBoost engine owners: Why You Never Run Extended Oil Change Intervals -- Agree or Disagree?

I read VW and timing chain tensioner failure and immediately went to 2.0 turbo trauma. Did it get replaced at 100k and break at 150k, or did the original survive to 150k?
  17. KO3 tires posted at Tirerack.com ... 2 fitments

It's simple. The current BG Goodrich KOs only go up to 2. The new ones go up to 3. That's one more than the old version.
  18. Warning for people attending any Off-Roadeo. If you need to leave early or can't make it on time.

Try calling the TX location directly at 210-213-3118. I am not saying you will get what you want, but they may be able to escalate for 2nd review (I had an unrelated situation and by calling directly I was able to discuss with a person and better explain and answer any questions). I would...
  19. KO3 tires posted at Tirerack.com ... 2 fitments

@Discount Tire posted the following previously. Some people from the Duramax forums have already gotten their hands on the tires a few months ago. As of right now the KO 3 will only be available in fitments for the Ford Ranger Raptor and The new Chevrolet and GMC trucks. I heard a rumor...
