Congrats to those with the happy emalis!
When I drove truck it was an easy thing to beat a train just about everywhere except CA legally. When your gas pedal and log book are so highly regulated over there it just didn't pay to play games.
On a more serius note: anyone have an idea how long...
Great write up! Definitely happy the wait is over and the real countdown begins. Just a few more weeks until my build date if all goes well. Really looking forward to seeing all the posts from the happy new Bronco owners in the coming weeks!
Nice job! Looked like quality work to me.
If the new owner (Son) is happy then I am sure everyone is happy!
At least that tends to be the way it works around here.
If I was going to put a sticker on the side of my expensive new truck it would be a heavy duty reproduction/modification of the EB script from the 1st gen. I will be on the lookout for something like that.
My last 2 F-250s have been Dark Shadow Grey, and my current is Sterling Grey Metallic. Personally I liked the Shadow Grey better but they are very similar.
I was torn when I saw the blues that were offered especially AMB and Lightning. Since my order was not an FE Lightning was out...
Good looking rig! Mine will be similar except Carb Grey. Even dirty it will look clean until you walk up close to it. Unless it's muddy! I also did as someone mentioned and kept the stock bumper for the fog/driving lights. I figured the aftermarket would provide a bumper I liked a whole lot...
If we were talking commuter cars of some sort I could see a lease.
I suppose it will depend upon your use of your Bronco and if you intend to modify it in any way. New parts means you can store the old, and the new will hopfully fit onto a new Bronco in a few years when you trade up...
Sorry to hear. I can probably expect mine to move as well. Few more pennies in the bank I guess so it's not all bad news. At least we are all still moving forward just not at the pace we were all hoping for.
I think the baby Powerstroke Ford made for the F-150 would have been a beast in this Bronco! I hate all the emissions crud I have to deal with on my F-250s but we can thank the tree huggers for that. My 2014 does not run any cleaner than my 2004 did. If you take care of your vehicle and maintain...
Not sure I totally agree with you but thanks for offering an opinion.
F-150s last had a manual in 2008 and Super Dutys in 2010. Bronco will be the first truck to have a manual in a long time.
The take rate on manual transmissions has been in decline for years. I often wonder why that is? I feel like if the manual was offered in any configuation from the beginning on the Bronco Ford would have seen a much higher percentage than the 10-15% take rate (estimate) that we are seeing so...
I got my email!
YOUR VEHICLE IS SCHEDULED FOR PRODUCTION
We are excited to let you know your 2021 Bronco™ WILDTRAK 4 Door has been scheduled for production. Your vehicle is scheduled to be built the week of June 21, 2021.
4Dr Sas 2.7 Lux MIC top Carb Grey
Nice truck! I appreciate the share. I really was going to order one of those but could not get over the orange pinstriping in the seats and orange accent colors on the handles and dash. Others I'm sure think it looks cool, but for me it was the sticking point that made a good car unbuyable. The...
I really like that half cab! My 69 was originally a half cab but somewhere in its life before me it was turned into a roadster. If I wasn't so determined to have a new one I would restore her to something like this beauty!
@airishfan Right on! SD a bit far to try and save a few bucks especially during this virus crud! Getting mine at MSRP at least and lowest taxes in the state (Carson City).
X plan isnt being allowed for 2021. They announced they would be treating the first year like the Raptor and any other special release months ago probably due to the limited production this year. What they will allow for 22 and beyond has not been said.
