  5. Rock rails/Steps - current ones aren't good enough

I won’t have time for photos for a few days, but they easily mount in the Ford factory holes for their steps and rock slider. That reminds me, I need to sell the factory rock sliders that came on my Black Diamond SAS.
  6. Rock rails/Steps - current ones aren't good enough

That’s Cabezon Peak in New Mexico. It’s a lot larger than Devil’s Tower and rises 1600 feet above the surrounding landscape.

That’s part of these steps. Covers them nicely.
  8. Rock rails/Steps - current ones aren't good enough

Before my Bronco was a week old, I installed the Barricade Open Trail HD Running Boards. I have bounced off rocks many times and they are very strong. They are scratched, but not bent.

  11. Grants to San Ysidro, NM - 108 miles of (mostly) decent trail

My Black Diamond is SAS with 2.7L and the Ford wench kit. I just hit 13,000 miles. My average is 17mpg. Flat Highway is 19-21mpg on cruse at 70-80mph.

If you have an iPhone 14 or newer, the SOS or text via satellite works really well. I have tested mine in the desert and in the mountains. I’m a ham radio operator and also have a 50 watt VHF/UHF mobile radio.
  18. What I hate about my Bronco, you? (edit) Or maybe I should have called it "What would you want if you were designing it"

I have 13,000 miles on it now and absolutely love my Bronco. I go off road on a regular basis exploring the desert and mountains, and just completed a 3,000 mile road trip. But there is one thing I hate: The Cheap Plastic Interior! Your fingernail will easily permanently scratch it. The...
