    A hard top definitely isn’t a necessity for me. A want for sure with the intense Texas summer, and comfort. I just can’t be shelling out an extra $2k after the fact to get a black hard top.

    110% it should be flat black. I never would’ve guessed it would be gray unless you could pick between the two as standard “options” I guess. I get Ford trying to streamline reservations. But I’d think majority would want black as the streamlined color...

    That’s what im asking about. I think it’s weird that the standard color isn’t MIC black. Does anyone know if there’s talk of one coming? Or are the only options for the foreseeable future grey and painted black?

    I’ve skimmed through the pages and didn’t see any concrete talk of it so please go easy on me ? BUT, I see discussion on the grey MIC, and *painted* black coming later. But I’m not seeing any info on just a black MIC hard top.. which is what I’d assume is like what’s on a Wrangler?

    Was hoping to go for Big Bend, and after seeing the colors, Race Red since I cant do Cyber. But after adding an auto, and rock rails, I think I may need to step down to Base. Also, not sure what the whole top situation is about. I don’t want grey, and I don’t want glossy black... ?

    I’m definitely not a fan of the grey top. I really hope a black top on Base or Big Bend doesn’t have to be a cost option

    I definitely love the shade of green that my Jeep is, it looks a little lighter and flat in the direct sunlight. This would be my pick for a green addition!
