OBX no price increase? Wildtrak keeps growing.
21 OBX owners not liking that. I paid a little more for my OBX loaded sas over an identically equipped Wildtrak, purely for interior/aesthetics. Sounds crazy but it’s true, the 2021 WT was like 300 less than a 2.7 OBX sas identically equipped….The...
Any resolution here?
I noticed this as well if all 4 windows are down and I attempt to auto roll them up at the same time (ie hitting auto up for one set then immediately auto up for the back set). Usually one or two windows stop midway like the vehicle can’t comprehend the task of auto up for...
Nice. I have 35mm spacers on stock sas setup which put me to -5 on stock wheels. I was going to guess that you were running somewhere between -5 to -10. That range is the perfect amount of poke.
Although I do want to eventually ditch the spacers and do it right with a negative offset rim.
OP -...
They just went ahead and axed the low take rate combinations. I get it, but will probably throw newcomers for a loop on the build and price.
They basically said pick the trim that has the lowest take rate for the 2.3 auto, and the trim with the lowest take rate for 2 door
Clearly that impacted...
Not selling my grail build AMB roast OBX sas lux under 75k, maybe 80k. 6k miles. Truthfully, the buyer pool probably tops off below 60k. So willl likely never come to terms with selling for many many years, maybe ever until the car dies. Delusional or not, that’s where I stand. Where I’m pegging...
I’ve thought about this as well. Basically at the point where gas cars make up like <10% of sales plus 15 years out from there when so few are on the road. The lack of gas stations is a valid long term concern, especially if you live in a rural area. Although I’d be much less concerned if you...
Yeah I mean I’m not holding out keeping it forever for the sole purpose that one day it could be worth something. And the fact that I have low miles is not intentional.
I think my spec will certainly age well and be desirable for a long period of time at least for me. But agreed the chances of...
I’ve been thinking about this occasionally. Or at least whenever a new vehicle comes out that slightly gets me interested.
For context - I spec’d it out at the prospect of being a future classic or at least something that would continue to interest me long term (first model year 2021 antimatter...
Now realizing the standard hybrid system robs it of a third row. The next GX (same platform) has 3 rows since it’s a non hybrid. So all those guys here thinking about the GX for wife/family and may be holding out for the GX hybrid, take note that there a good chance that the hybrid may have the...
Besides the front facade, the exterior looks to be 95% Lexus GX (maybe there’s a kink here or there, but largely GX), same exterior dimensions, and I assume same chassis…. so my mind keeps getting stuck on poor man’s GX….when the Land Cruiser used to be the same platform as the LX (or you could...
When my 2021 kept getting delayed I shopped the wrangler and defender.
The second I shut the door on the wrangler it was a hard no. The interior was way too cramped and narrow. I wouldn’t want to drive that more than an hour. Like your knee and left arm were right up against the door. the...
Just picked up my 2021 from an oil change and saw a 4 dr Wildtrak with a $66.9k sticker. My loaded 21 OBX sas was $57.4k, I think $200 more than an identically equipped WIldtrak at the time, making the Wildtrak $57.2k. The Wiltrak I saw had $1,400 worth of additional options, so if I took those...
Got my speedy moonphase retrofitted with a chronoscope bracelet (latest gen style bracelet found on 321 but it’s a 21mm). Need some tweaking and different bars but it fit. A 1 of 1 as far as I know on the omega forums
Same build here - <6k miles, but with roast leather and a hardtop. Curious what this sells for. To me - it's a grail build - OBX sas AMB (but on roast). I've always thought what others would perceive the value to be. IMO, $57k is a bargain. Personally, I wouldn't let mine go for a penny under...
Not my bronco - but my other vehicle (volvo) - I’ve been hand washing for a majority of the time using a turtle wax spray shine and seal. I have huge areas of splotchy wax residue that won’t come off. Maybe from occasionally applying in the sun.
Is there an easy way for me to remove without...
Sucks.
I appreciate the heroic story to recover it. But sounds like it was probably totaled regardless of whether you got it out in a day or never, no? Didn’t read every page here btw
I wouldn’t part with my grail build for under 90k. Granted that’s out of market, although at peak hype I probably could have come close to that. As bronco prices start to normalize, it doesn’t really matter to me because it’s simply not for sale you’d have to pry it out of my dead hands or pay...
