I rent Tacoma's often when I fly into Sacramento. They have nice 4x4 4 door fairly low mileage models. Bronco is light years ahead in comfort, power, and features. If you need a truck, the Tacoma is the smart choice. (I just rented a 4x4 Colorado, ewww) If you don't need a truck, get the...
Received my shipping notification as well. I have a number of items from Archetype. They have all taken a wait and have all been top notch parts. These are not parts I need to get to work on Monday. They are shiny bits and after a 2 year wait for the car, I am pretty ok with wait for these.
I periodically check to see if the kit is in stock. I would totally have this in my kit, but....
Do you think you will ever get your suppliers to get their act together?
I saw the same thing when I was on the list to buy a Lightning. The only thing they need to add is a timeframe. If this helps keep the flippers away I am ok with it.
I was in Mammoth skiing during the "blizzard" this weekend and I just left it in slippery mode all weekend and it handled it all with zero issues. Did not notice any bumps or binding, but it really was slippery so it could have been happening but it got taken up by the snow and ice.
I added the pinchweld covers when I installed the RCI sliders. They are an "L" profile (cover the outer face of the pinchweld and then parallel to the ground), then so they actually give a good place to run wires or add rock lights along the bottom edge of the rockers and seem to allow water...
Swapped to another brand and now have the factory sliders with all bolts and brackets available.
$250 $100. I'm too lazy to ship so local pickup please.
Thanks
I was worried about the same thing - tons of stories of converters being stolen, but after being underneath the Bronco and installing my rock sliders, I know the cats are all good.
I purchased at a dealership in the valley and I am moderately satisfied with them, but we have recently begun getting my wife's Lincoln serviced at Star Ford in Glendale and we have been very happy with them.
I was quoted $6k in Los Angeles. Not particularly worth it for me, but I get why people do it. Great protection and looks, but if I still have it in 10 years I will just get it painted.
Remember to look at the leadtime they post at the top of their page. I will be installing mine this weekend and it took exactly how long they said it would take.
Same here. Months of waffling back and forth and I just ordered about three weeks ago.
Hoping my wife thinks they are steps I bought just for her so she might complain less when I get around to a lift.
Mine is A51 and I had the same thought as to wheel colors. I lean towards black as all the trim, bumpers, top, etc are all black and it would match. I ordered the Bronco script in black as well so all would blend in.
