Updated order for 22 on 10/15. Received this from Ford 10/19, no mention of early order.

I think that's the point with the $1600 upcharge for the 7MT. Its not really worth the full $4090, but what's a full set (5) of 35's cost? Even if the factory wheels were kept, it's still pushing 2K. Therefore, IMHO, $2495 isn't to terribly bad considering I'd have warranty coverage for breakages.

Interesting I had a BL selected with SAS, Lux, towing, and some other odds and ends.

Just tried it, if I select the 10A the price of SAS does indeed only add $2495. However, if I have the 7MT selected, it does still add the full $4090. Maybe they'll give me the 10A I'll be paying for in the back and I'll have a spare for the wife's Explorer ST!!
