I'm going to age myself by saying this, but I've had 3 Fords:
A 1959 Ford Taunus (great little 4 cyl, drove it everywhere, including the desert)
1970 Ford Pinto (no comment)
1966 Ford Econoline Van
I'm still buying a Wildtrak... :p
I'm right there with you.... I don't think it will happen though, but ill post what the Bronco specialist says tomorrow.
I'll probably end up squatching the BB..... Just another 4k plus. Sigh....
Great pics! Especially nice with the the OW Sport sitting next to it -- 2 of my 3 color considerations. I like CG, but because of the pop, and flexibility, OW is well in the lead.
190K reservations, Pandemic supply chain 'handicap' or disaster --- they were caught, completely, with their pants down. They've been mining B&P data for two months - especially 'saved' B&P and are now making a call. It ain't pretty, but they have a product in high demand.
This would be my issue. If you are in the mid-altantic, you get inclement weather. Your daughter will be safer with auto 4X4. Buy a beater with stick and give that to her to learn on -- teenagers have a tendency to damage/destroy first cars... at least in my experience (2 boys though).
I'm about 98% sure I'm going with BD, 2dr, auto, 2.7, Auto4x4, Non-squatch, tow, Mid. I plan on pulling a small trailer, otherwise I'd consider the 2.3.
Love the non-sig headlights, grill, steelies (not so much the gloss black paint though) - the utilitarian, retro looks appeal to me. I live...
I hear you ... I've been thinking the same thing... don't really need squatch. Even though B&P does not list as option, the Preliminary Tech specs for wheels do - optional beadlock-capable wheels on BB and BD and BL. Since BL comes with 33's, doesn't that sound like they would fit on BB and BD...
Love this! Way too light to look like wet cement, IMO. I had a '68 Volvo 122s painted in a non metallic off white, blue-ish tint (so many off whites have a yellow tint), a mercedes color, looked great. I've got to have a light color and was down to oxford white or CG. CG just surged ahead...
I like this analysis. If you want the 2.7/auto, the difference is even less.
$38,700 vs $40,235 or $1,535 difference.
You also get to 'buy the option' to buy the mid package.... going from base to BD.
edit: And a trailer hitch! lol
If you must have the automatic (like me, I've had my fill of manuals), why wouldn't you pay $300 more for the 2.7tt ... regardless of resale value...?? This is not a green machine, it seems like a no brainer to me.
