I echo the post above. The handling of the Raptor cannot be touched by the Jeep. One of the best all around vehicles Iāve owned. Ford actually did themselves a dis-service, as Iām not likely to sell/trade my Raptor for any other vehicle. Itās that good.
I got mine 6-7 months ago for $68,500. So they are definitely out there for that price. And mine has bead locks, carbon fibre, suede, orange seat belts and graphics, so itās not a stripped down Raptor.
Definitely let them stretch. I had a Havoc top on the 2 door I owned. Nearly impossible to install windows on a cold dayā¦Nearly, but not completely impossible. But it was one of my favorite soft tops Iāve ever owned.
When I switch between my factory hard top and factory soft top, I have to loosen and adjust the latch plates on each corner of the windshield to get the latches to catch the plate. That could be one of your issues.
Sometimes anti collision systems react to direct sunlight (straight into the camera with rising/setting sun) and shadows. More so if youāre going in and out of each.
Oh the drama!! Iāve had two replaced. The first one broke when a tractor trailer passed me on the highway. Second one broke when a dump truck in the on coming lane threw a rock into my lane. The kickerā¦second one happened on my way home after I picked up the Bronco for the first windshield...
