If you have an RC hidden winch, you have a lot hanging under there. That big ass winch tray sitting under the bumper isn't what I'd call a high and tight mod for clearance. I mean, there's a reason the 4600 guys went the more difficult route by tucking it further under there compared to the RC...
I've had zero problems with mine for the past year now, and I used cheap pods from Harbor Freight of all places. The white light looks way better than colored, and if you find the right spots where they'll be effective, you won't be illuminating your undercarriage, only the ground where the...
You can buy a blank throw lever mount and tap it for a 1/4x20 screw. Thread in a countersink screw from the bottom up, rocksett or loctite the threads and stake it to keep it in place, add a thumbwheel lock to clock it in the right orientation.

Sticker Fab is on here and makes them, it's a simple mod and easy to do.
Probably a lot less regrettable than spraypaint as you can peel them back off if you want.
No, this is the kind of person that regularly drives across the median to turn around or jumps across to the service road to avoid...
Good to see you're doing okay. I know what it's like to get attached to a vehicle, so possibly good news, that Bronco might not get totaled out, actually. Even as a base model, it really just depends on how badly the frame got tweaked and whether the drivetrain is still serviceable. The...
Shouldn't make a difference whether it's a smooth or slotted pic rail, the concept is the same. The slots are machined into an identical blank rail so it's not like the smooth rail adds some kind of extra dimension that forces you to slide the mount on. I can't think of a single mount that...
Broncos don't have any kind of strap limiter on the suspension and stock sasquatch suspension will hit the extension limit HARD, that 's probably what you're experiencing on the speed bumps. Feels and sounds like you're bottoming out a suspension with no bumpstops, but it happens at the end of...
The lower mounts on the one I have will hit the hood before you can get past the secondary latch, but even if the hood cleared those mounts, the angle of the cables would prevent the hood from opening more than maybe halfway regardless. Even if the risers mounted on the very edge of the...
Factory option, probably the roof rack. I had hoped there would be a lot more options and accessories for it, but it turns out to be mostly for looks as all the important load bearing bits are actually plastic. Need to machine out those plastic parts in aluminum, or weld up something in steel...
Ah, now I remember why I left this place for a few months.
Some solutions, perhaps...
LED's not making heat like halogens? Us humans have figured out how to make things that make heat!

Completely missed your post, sorry.
On the driver side, you'll see a solid brown wire (if you look close, you'll see it's marked pin #8), that's your power wire to the spot light. On the passenger side, there will be a purple wire with a brown stripe, again on pin #8, that powers the passenger...
Hmm. My experiences with older vehicles, particularly vacuum assisted brakes, is that when you lose the engine there's a certain reserve amount of vacuum left inside that chamber to work with. You get two, maybe three power assisted braking operations before the vacuum is gone and you no longer...
Happy New Year's my dudes, thanks for all the help 😎
I think that's the direction modern vehicles are going these days already...the current trend is to use individual modules located close to the components so they only need one large power wire and small gauge signal wires to control it with...
I got it wrong :cautious:
No worries though, I swapped it around, cleared DTC's, and it's good to go.
Well, aside from missing a fender and all that.
Not that I want to do this again or anything, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.
Turned out to be pretty straightforward other...
Found two identical violet/white wires coming from the loom to the connector and they're going to two different places. They were originally twisted around each other. I believe their circuits are VED23 and VCA03 on the pinout. All that I can tell is that there is a violet/white wire coming...
