  1. Off-Rodeo costs... What am I missing here

The base rate I see is $339, which appears to be their minimum. By the time you throw on taxes, and you are at $379. It's a resort. It's what they charge. I saw base rates under $75 in Moab. It's all what you want in your accommodations.
  2. Off-Rodeo costs... What am I missing here

It's High Season in Moab - when the temps are under 100! Stay in town. Still expensive (in relative terms) through November. I got an under $200 rate at the Adventure Inn. I've mentioned it a couple times. I really hope it's as nice a little motor court as it was when I stayed there a few...
  3. Off-Rodeo costs... What am I missing here

Glad I read this to the end before replying. Just look up the Dome trail. You can find GPX tracks of it on the internet. Looks like a lot of fun. After you get your Bronco, go back out with the kiddos and treat them to a great time. This is a hell of a deal. If you had to pay the full...
  4. What's the practice on tipping Off-Roadeo guides?

Lol. I don't plan on scaring anyone. But yeah - I'm amazed at the people who complain about the price. Just renting a SxS for a day can easily cost $500 - without a guide. There is a place n Southern Utah that add a tip in the cost of their tours, on top of pretty rich tour costs - and tell...
  5. DIY white steel wheels installed on my Base retro build

Years ago, I repainted Vdub rims with Rustoleum. They lasted just fine and looked good. Even it you had to do some touch up later, it would be easy. I do like the look. Very interested to see how far you take it.
  6. What's the practice on tipping Off-Roadeo guides?

Just curious - for other trips, tours, etc. where there is a guide involved, typically they are tipped. Is there a policy or practice for the Off Roadeo?
  7. A piece of my Bronco fell off at Super Bronco Celebration

Just wondering, how many tail light trim pieces have fallen off to date, and what was the cause? That said, a small number of the 2011 and on Explorers suffered from front A pillar trim coming off. That was held on with double sided tape. Seems like they got that fixed. If this is a...
  8. Which Off roadeo if you could only do one???

Moab. And I’m doing it. Fly to Grand Junction. drive an hour. Have lots of fun. Lots to do in the area.
  9. A piece of my Bronco fell off at Super Bronco Celebration

Yep. Exactly what I thought when I saw the piece that came off. I'd use the trim tape approach to reattach.
  10. DIY white steel wheels installed on my Base retro build

Really like the look. Grille, too.
  11. Other Moab Must-do's?

Lots of national parks to see and things to do in them. If you are going on the off roads or back roads, be sure to check road conditions. The White Rim trail is pretty straightforward in good conditions, but if you happened to catch some rain, there are a couple sections that could get...
  12. Moab Bronco Off Roadeo was AMAZING!!!!!!

So get there early and look under the hoods to spot the 2.7s? :) what is the mix of 2 dr vs 4 dr models?
  13. Reservation Problem

Is the erroneous email taken? if not, why not just register it to yourself, then get the emails?
  14. Moab offroadeo pics

As others have said, Moab is not far. On the dates I'm looking, Red Cliffs' rates are crazy expensive. The Adventure Inn in Moab is a great little motor court style motel. I'll likely stay there if I can make it out.
  15. Ford Accessory Winch Kit now available for 2021 Bronco

How many million points would it take to buy a winch?! ;) Maybe my dealer will give me the $1,000 "make the customer happy" cash as a winch discount. :)
  16. Ford Accessory Winch Kit now available for 2021 Bronco

SMH. $3,500?! A Warn 10,000 lb winch can be had for $750 + tax. $65 for the hook. You can buy a lot of of cable and fabrication for $2,700ish After all the challenges Ford has had with the vehicle release, I'd think they would go a little easier on accessories, at least for a while.
  17. Moab Off Roadeo is awesome!

Grand Junction is a little over an hour away.
  18. Moab Off-Roadeo Report 08/21/21

Thanks for the writeup, Andrew. It sealed the deal for me on choosing Moab. It may be a little out of the way, but it's a wonderful location.
  19. Moab Off-Roadeo Report 08/21/21

I see where Moab has become a bit more commercial than when I was there last, but the Adventure Inn is still there offering a great place to sleep cheap. Great little motel. I'll save the big buck resort fee and make the drive. Some really cool scenery to the south of the resort. They...
  20. Moab Off Roadeo is awesome!

Would much rather be in Moab. Great natural terrain. The national parks all around are just amazing.
