Mine had gremlins on the way home from the dealer. Dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree. Got home checked the battery. Battery was almost dead, wouldn't take a charge.. Dealer compensated me for a new battery and it's been great since.
Hey Mike. I ordered the 4 door net and I'm working on a way to put it in the 2 door without any drilling. Already made 2 brackets out of scrap and if they work will make better ones. I'll post pics here after my net arrives.
Anyone know the bolt specs for the small black bolts in the airbag trim on the roll bar? Where you would attach paracord grab handles. Have to drill and tap 2 new holes.
What's wrong with my F150 Lariat? Loaded except for moonroof. Which I purposely avoided. LOL
Not knocking you guys who want a little more, but my Bronco is my Toy, not my primary.
My Badlands is pretty comfortable, "leather" heated seats. Which are very easy to clean.
You guys realize that the Bronco was designed as an "off road" vehicle. My previous Jeeps had water and mud inside and had to get hosed out. Imagine what that would do to power seats. Hell, 2 of my Jeeps had manual windows. The frameless windows do rattle a lot, but Ford made it easier to remove...
You can just cut back the rubber bumpers. You'll be fine with the tailgate as is. It's not the carrier, it's the hinges that need beefing up when you go BIG as in 37's
I'm so happy for you.
Out of all the things you could wish for, you want to be able to open the doors with your phone!!!
All you have to do is touch the handle and it unlocks, but I guess that's too easy.
My only complaint is with the rear seats in my 2dr. They're useless unless you're 4' tall and the design is horrible. I'm 6'3" and with the seat all the way back, I can't fold down the seat behind me.
Jeep has this right. Ford, you screwed this up. I always removed the rear seat in all my 2dr...
I used to dive. I don't know how deep you're going, but they do make waterproof bags you can put stuff in and take the fob with you. I used to take my "keys" with me. Remember those!
Looks like I'd have to drill and tap into the top bar on both sides to add the thumb screws (2)to keep the cross bar in place.
One on each side. Not really a big deal. Unless I make some kind of bracket to go under the one existing screw.
I have one in my F150 and it keeps the beast in place.
There's an older thread on this, but for those of you putting a Sunrider on your 2dr, don't use the 5.5mm spacer that Bestop supplies. It leaves a large gap on the sides where the Sunrider meets the factory top. Some guys remove the spacer completely, but I found that to put a lot of stress on...
Hey Jeff. FDNY? I'm retired.
Now about the sunrider. I had the gap in the rear because of the 5.5 spacer. I took the spacer out and it looked like the bolt was stressing the plastic too much. I replaced with a washer about half the size of the spacer. No stress on the plastic and the gap is...
