So all you have to do is swap out the rims and tires and remove the front and rear crash bars? Do the big tires make things like the speedometer out of whack? Does that all have to be recalibrated?
I'd like to put Sasquatch rims and tires on my 4 door Big Bend. But, I'm having trouble finding someone in my area to do it. From what I understand, going from my Big Bend's rims and 32's to Sasquatch rims and 35's is not that complex. As I understand it, I would need buy a 2" lift and level kit...
I did the same swap with my Big Bend. Bought the signatures on Ebay for $900 and sold mine for $500. The signatures look great and the swap was easy even for a novice like me.
Yes. I've seen every high end car imaginable go through this carwash. Figured if they didnt mess up Porches and MBs and the like, my Bronco was safe. And I asked my dealer about it and they said no worries as well. I just did the most basic wash, no wax or anything.
I went through a car wash for the first time today. 4-door soft top Big Bend. No issues except for dog hairs inside. I have a stubby antenna which I left on. Again, no issues.
I did the same thing with my Big Bend. Bought the signature lights on eBay for $900. Then, having never done more than change flat tires on a car before, I followed the instructions on the Stage 3 Motorsports video shown here and swapped them out myself. It was remarkably easy. Here are before...
Here are before and after pics: And here is a third after as of 2/14/22. I did add used Sasquatch rims and new Toyo 35" A/T III's along with a Zone 2" lift and a Rough Country rear tail light extender. Now I just need to add some tapered 4Wheel Parts crash bars so the 35" tires dont rub and...
Just when I thought I was finished. Now you guys have will have me looking at every other Bronco's tail lights. And realistically, I may not be done until I add rock rails, and maybe Sasquatch rims and 35" tires and the requisite fender flares and lifts.
Yes. The signature and non-signature lights are apparently interchangeable. I simply did what the video showed and plugged them in. They're working perfectly.
I bought my Big Bend without the LED's. I didn't realize the non-LED's didn't have the signature Bronco look, which I really like. So I bought some OEM LED's on eBay. I shopped around to find someone to install them, but it seemed ridiculously expensive. So, in spite of the fact that I've never...
Hi Adam,
I purchased some OEM LED's for my Bronco and reached out to 4x4 Truck LED's to see if they would switch them out for me. If they will, I'll drive out to KLindenhurst as soon as they can see me.
Thanks again.
