I was trying to find a mall in WV a few months ago...
20hours & 600 miles but I never did find that mall....
I'm gonna look for one in Southern Ohio this weekend...
I was really curious if the proposed merger would've left us with a solid company that kept the best parts of all 3 brands.
Imagine a Japanese manufacturer with Honda reliability, some fun Honda cars, a revamped Mitsubisih Evo, Nissan Trucks (because the honda stuff is so, so bad) & SUVs & a...
I had a 2011 Xterra. Loved it. Only vehicle I've ever purchased brand new. Had it for 60k miles, got totaled with like 5 payments left.
It was a solid vehicle.
I abused the crap out of it.
Only issue I had was a random sway bar snapping that I'd probably blame more on a pc of bad metal...
not just Bronco stuff.
I ordered a set of Starlink Mini mounts (technically they're for a Jeep overhead Molle panel, but I'll adapt my panel to make them work) from them a month ago & I was hoping I'd have them by this upcoming Friday for a rally I'm running, but nada yet. I even emailed...
my parents paid 38k in 89.....
and their house had no carpet, needed a lot of work & updating, but it was structurally sound
A house in this area now is around 200k for something 25 years old or older & move in ready, but not recently refreshed or renovated & with little/no land.
When I saw the pics of the China market Bronco, I really liked the little FORD lettering above the BRONCO letters in the grille.
I was curious if anyone has done anything similar to their Bronco here in the US, particularly in Red like the original Broncos.
Not sure about ADD, I was planning on getting Turns version sometime.
I wouldn't think the plastic would matter that much, the ACC sensor itself already has a plastic cover on it in the OEM location.
The radar should work through the plastic.
BLIS works through the rear quarters, so....
Counterpoint - an ACC relocation kit is $90 I think & moves it behind the grill, which is something I plan on doing even though my bumper has a spot for it, just to remove it from a spot where it can get damaged easily off road
Yeah, I was going for simplicity. I work at a fab shop & couldn't justify spending the $ for what they're asking for these.
I used 6061 Aluminum, 1/8" thick & just made it fit a standard fairlead.
I might mess around with some kind of rear housing to hide the cable a bit better, but it's...
I'll weigh in with my $0.02 here.
I'm running an aftermarket bumper, with the winch mid or high mounted.
I also have the Lux package on a Wildtrak, so camera, sensors, ACC, everthing.
I had to drill holes for my sensors & used the Lobo Offroad mounts for the sensors - $10/pc for 4 parts isn't...
I'll 2nd the option on the sliders.
The OEMs are ok. They're not the best, but they're better than nothing.
But there's zero reason to give Ford $700 for them.
I paid $110 on marketplace for a set of Badlands take offs.
I'm not hardcore rock crawling, but they've taken a few hits & they hide...
The primary reason for the 2nd battery is so that I can use it all day at work without killing the battering in the Bronco.
My boss has forbidden us from having access to the companies wifi network & we have no cell reception inside the building (like have to walk to the window to get a text...
So I'm running a starlink mini, mounted on the RC overhead Molle Panel.
I've got a battery I'm waiting on delivery of that will be installed in the cargo area on a secured shelf. What I was wondering is if anyone has any good solutions for an inline power switch to the mini, so I don't have to...
My understanding is the Bronc Buster is the same 3.0 rack, just with his bushings & billet housing added to it. I believe he also pre programs them so they're just plug/play when you get them.
I'm a fan of the hot pepper red, which is why I of course have a shadow black model.
For real though, I wish I'd have held out for the HPR after I saw it in person.
for me the AMB is a great color, but with all the black trim & plastic, is just doesn't "work" for me on a Bronco.
If someone wants to steal your rack, do you really think facing the straps the other way will stop them?
10 seconds to cut a pair of straps with a pocket knife.
Just got an email from FedEx that I'm expecting a delivery from Turn tomorrow. Since I haven't ordered anything else, I assume it's the adapter plate.
That diagram would've been helpful to have in the box - I definitely wired mine incorrectly on the 1st try.
Nicely done. I think I'm going to do something similar for the battery I just ordered. Except it has mounting plates on the bottom, so I'm thinking of running 4 weld studs & using a wingnut for a little more security than a strap, while allowing quick removal when needed.
I ordered a Dr...
